Yeah this should be revisited. As soon as you finish on a game, all of the games on that particular map will be scanned. Total waste of time and can be done better with a bit of work. (At least it doesn't go through all the other maps too).

allright, i fall asleep at night and dream of angelina jolie and the day when map rank magically no longer has to cycle through a zillion games when i play a couple...

but maybe if my dreams aren't answered then you could at least make it where when i map rank a specific map successfully, it then updates that specific number in (#) of gamefinder/start a game...

Uncheck the Rank and Points checkbox. That doesn't cycle through any games and is a fast way of getting just medal information.

Your suggestion is already automatically done btw - if you play 2 new Classic games, map rank + All will only cycle through Classic games which is the same as just selecting it from the dropdown - except the All selection saves the data so you dont keep doing full rescans.

Can't do anything about Angelina Jolie , I'm afraid, much as I'd like to.

nah,

hypothetical: i am saying i play a classic, a waterloo, a bamboo, a dust bowl, a mongolia... i am working on mongolia and dust so i dont really cafe about classic, waterloo, bamboo... i can run those individually to see what i need.. but then the bold number of start game or game finder hasnt been updated to what they actually are, i need to do all to get that... follow?

Yes, I follow. (Have you tried running without Rank and Points checked?)

What you suggest only is useful for cross-maps. If you run selected maps only then the other medal numbers on the game finder will be wrong.

e.g.

You win Classic,Waterloo,Bamboo 6p Standard. You also win Mongolia and dust 6p Standard.

If you just run mongolia and dust then their cross map numbers will be correct but the standard number will only have counted
the defeats for them and missed the defeats for the other maps. The reason why this hasn't been done is that it is bound to end up confusing.

Your initial suggestion of not running the whole set of games I agree with, but won't be soon.

1.4.9 is available.

You can now sort by win/loss ratio and kill ratio. When Map Rank finishes , click on the column headers to sort the table.
Click again to reverse sort.

New Kill ratio levels (see head post for details).

Also there is a number next to the kill ratio percentage that tells you how many kills without losing games you
need to go up to the next kill ratio level. Again see first post of this thread.

Might I suggest that you add something to the script that can count what types of opponents you've faced/defeated?

Sweet.

What does it mean when it says "rescan" under kill ratio? I've tried rescanning... it just always says rescan. Before this last update, it was saying victim 0% for all of them, but these are maps on which I have some 30 unique defeats, so that's pretty much impossible. Thoughts?

Yeah, I put that in to signify you need to do a full rescan:

1.Toggle Rank and Points in the left hand Map Rank menu in Options.
2. Run Map Rank on your name + All maps
3. If Rank and Points is now unchecked , check it and run again. This is a full rescan.

Oh, lol. Reading the pages, I kept on seeing references to a "full rescan", but I couldn't exactly figure out what that meant, especially since my left-hand option was already checked. : ) Sorry for making you repeat yourself - I guess I just didn't get it.

1.5.0 Available

Relative Kill Rank added (you can also sort this column).

You will need a full rescan to see these numbers when using your name + All in the left menu as usual.

Yes, you need a full rescan if you want to see these from the left menu.

Toggle Rank and Points checkbox. Run your name + All maps.

So, when I clicked to get the new update, the summary said this bit about how the ratio requires "A FULL RESCAN", and then (I'm pretty sure), it said "see head post". I assumed that meant that you wrote out the "full rescan" process on the instruction page so that people would stop asking, but it doesn't seem to be there. In fact, the word "rescan" doesn't appear at all.

To be completely honest, I sort of feel like the "toggle" instructions are hard to follow because of the ambiguity of the word. My first reaction when I hear "toggle", is to flip back and forth. So I would uncheck it and check it again, then run the scan. I'm not sure if that would have worked (because it turned out my box was unchecked anyway), but after staring at it for some time, I think you may be intending something more like this:

If the boxes are checked:
1) Uncheck them,
2) run the scan
3) check them again
4) run the scan again.

If the boxes are not checked,
1) check them
2) run the scan

In any case, you might consider putting some sort of description of this whole rescan process in the instruction page. I looked for it there for quite some time before I asked. : ) Thanks again, though, for the great application!
