Every reference of Kool aide and Obama are in fact related to the Jonestown incident. They are likening Obama to Jones and likening Obama supporters to the blind followers of Jones. Had you actually done a Google search, you would have read this too.
I've just spent the last hour trying to find any racial connotation to Kool aid jokes and I cannot find a single racial Kool aide joke. Not a single one! There are however, blonde kool aide jokes (she couldn't fit 8 cups of water into the packet) and fat people kool aide jokes (she wore a red sweater and everyone yelled Oh YEAH!) but not a single racial comment.

Damn, I wished I'd bothered to look that up! Though, in fair disclosure, the fat woman joke I found actually started "yo mama's so fat". I think we're going to need to get an official word on the racial implications on that one.
Ummm..... yeah. So that is the exact same search I did and there is NOTHING about racist kool aid jokes. Why don't you actually provide an explanation or examples of such bigoted statements, because I'd really like to understand your point of view. Even Wikipedia has absolutely no mention of racial slander on the Kool aid page, and don't say Wiki weeds out racist stuff because some asshat put "WHITE POWER" on the Nikola Tesla page and its been there for a year.
While you are thinking of your next run-on sentence to post, you should try this Google search.
Hmm I listed a whole page full from the same search maybe we are using different Googles, I love how closet racists try and defend ignorant statements instead of just apologizing or even better admitting their ignorance and apologizing. You people have attempted to derail because your arguments do not hold weight against the system so it is better to get the thread banished by taking us as far off as possible. It at least holds true to form with your rationale behind attacking the rating system, which is a step beyond the old and a vast improvement.
The way tis new system works requires people to objectively look at things and use good judgment in rating. Yes some will abuse it like the old but it is much less arbitrary having the star ratings on categories then just random rants about your like or dislikes of a person. This system when coupled with common sense is simple so it does not need moderation, and was well thought out enough to average so as to compensate for the few abusers without having mod interference. It again when used properly gives a look at a persons playing style and personality.
Since it is an average it takes time before it will give a really full picture and as people learn the system and basis for grading it will level out. Those against this are passionately against it I understand that but instead of reveling in your ignorance and seeking reasons to justify it, try learning, understanding and using correctly, you may find it does work as it was designed to.Attitude is contagious so is ignorance, let go of both and it will be a better CC...
Yeah, you edited your post with those links after I had already quoted you. I have to say that from reading the links you offered up as proof (most of which actually support me, not you) , it is clear that the kool aid references you talk about are culturally and economically driven, not racially driven. I'm sorry to break the news to you, but black people don't hold a monopoly on ghettos and poverty. I do recognize that there is a certain undesirable population that will twist just about anything into a racist comment, but again, black people don't hold a monopoly on being the targets of racism. None of this changes the fact that you clearly misunderstood the context of detlef's kool aid statement. Furthermore, I take GREAT offense to being labeled as a racist, and I'm sure my Korean-American girlfriend would echo that sentiment.
Now if you would like to address the MANY MANY MANY valid points about the rating system rather than deflecting towards non-racist statements, I'd like to see what you have to say. Then again, I'm not really expecting anything different than the "you are too ignorant to understand my elite intellectual musings" schtik you have been on about.
