This system is a real world improvement, maybe you should have found a good structure for your children provided them with a spiritual base then involved them in something like martial arts which would have helped reinforce basic societal moral and self discipline. I guess I have been blessed to so far have 7 successes and one partial failure...

With a Doctor, a Chartered Accountant, a published Philosopher and a high ranking Officer in an International Charity action group as my now grown up children are, I must humbly agree, it is obvious I have failed miserably. The Communities both real world and Online I am a member of know the reference to be racists there have been comments about Barrack Obama and the how Koolaid will need to be served and multiple Jokes about Koolaid and black people in the public Domain care OF Obama(High Profile)as recent as this last week. Another online site I am a member of http://www.allhiphop.com, suffered attacks from other racists hackers with Koolaid black jokes and other racist stereotypes and made national news because of the hacking involved which shut down the boards in this last week. To feign Ignorance is pathetic and not a reasonable defense, to inaccurately reference an event with the improper terminology and try and defend those comments is low class.

To me both of your arguments show how limited your scope is, as far as a basic understanding before speaking on a subject. I could be crass and reprint some of the recent offenses and historical references that you both seem oblivious of, but I have no desire to lower myself to reprint racist trash to prove a point. Damn, I wished I'd bothered to look that up! Though, in fair disclosure, the fat woman joke I found actually started "yo mama's so fat". I think we're going to need to get an official word on the racial implications on that one.

Hmm I listed a whole page full from the same search maybe we are using different Googles, I love how closet racists try and defend ignorant statements instead of just apologizing or even better admitting their ignorance and apologizing. You people have attempted to derail because your arguments do not hold weight against the system so it is better to get the thread banished by taking us as far off as possible. It at least holds true to form with your rationale behind attacking the rating system, which is a step beyond the old and a vast improvement.

The way tis new system works requires people to objectively look at things and use good judgment in rating. Yes some will abuse it like the old but it is much less arbitrary having the star ratings on categories then just random rants about your like or dislikes of a person. This system when coupled with common sense is simple so it does not need moderation, and was well thought out enough to average so as to compensate for the few abusers without having mod interference. It again when used properly gives a look at a persons playing style and personality.

Since it is an average it takes time before it will give a really full picture and as people learn the system and basis for grading it will level out. Those against this are passionately against it I understand that but instead of reveling in your ignorance and seeking reasons to justify it, try learning, understanding and using correctly, you may find it does work as it was designed to.Attitude is contagious so is ignorance, let go of both and it will be a better CC...

You know, GWB's been trying to push through a policy that is built on the same great premise of the ratings system. It's called Abstinence Only Sex Ed. It's really simple. Instead of realizing that teens are going to have sex and try to get them to practice safe sex, we just tell them not to. It will be 100% effective provided we can somehow get teenage boys and girls to, well, stop being teenage boys and girls. I mean, it's pure genius.
