The graphics look good to me.
only problem I see is the text on the title and the sections below that.
The text color is way too light, and it blends in with the background color too much.
Maybe try something a bit darker, or at least put some kind of border around the text so its easier to read.

yeh, i find that aswel.

i thought gimil said one time that the title should have the same texture as the title background, but it turned out like that.

"Special thanks to gimil" is touching a terr name.

Androy and anosy terr border runs into the sea, in facta few of the boarders at the coast could use a tweek, some run over water some dont make it to the coast.

You got some yellow running in anosy at the trees whichI dont think should be there.

Just some nitty picky stuff til oaktown is done with ya ;)

ill see to that and tidy things up
gimil wrote:You got some yellow running in anosy at the trees whichI dont think should be there.

i think i put that there at the time that i was making the trees - there were some complains about the trees not looking defined so i put that there to make them more defined - but if it looks like it shouldnt be there then it will go...?

I'd rather see Special Thanks to Gimil in the top right, and slightly smaller, so it's out of the way of the legend.

A few minor things:

Perhaps place one more tree the west side of the Ihorombe-Anosy area, just so it is clear they are not borders.

Consider placing an additional mounth at the south end of the Fara.-Vato-Iho. border area, so it is clear that Vato and Iho. do not border.

Maybe even add one more mountain above the "Bongolava" text, as it might look slightly better to keep some of the dark black border from appearing.

Looking good. Now continue to stay out of trouble, yes? :)

It might be perfect, it might not. But since we seem to all out of ideas...

Image

I've said it before and I'll say it again, bonuses are particularly tough on smaller maps. I think this is the best we've had yet - no silly one-way attack arrows or bonuses for holding a bird sanctuary. :D

do you mean why is it so low in comparison?

because i dont think a +5 bonus would be right...24 terits, having a bonus of 1/5 of the map seems high.
but i know what you mean - pink has the same amount of terits and yellow has more boarders - but if i had to defend yellow - i could reduce the boarders by 1 by simply taking Manja. i could also expand my bonus to a +8 for defending around 3 terits.
i think te gameplay discussion has been orientated around the bonuses, and whther there is another easy bonus to expand into.

I'd like to see if you can find another colour for the legend...yellow isn't doing anything for me. :)

Soory but gameplay is terrible STILL!!! Up north you hold 2 countries and you got a bonus of 4...Gameplay is lopsided and this map is gonna be shunned by the community im afraid....

At least open up the mountain in the north to reveal an other exit to the region with +1...Its quite shocking that a Mod has gameplay passed this

If you do that, it's very easy to expand from either small bonus to the other. As it is now, there isn't any good place to expand to if you start in either place, so the bonus is less useful.

thank you :)

as i said - its not really the bonus amounts...but the bonus amounts that you can expand in to.

and sorry cairns - got busy today, so i hope to change the colour of the beigy/yellowy title background tomorrow (and yes, its always tomorrow for me :P)
but i will try.

your large doesnt need to be so big. scaling the height to 750 should be enought. Right now youve kinda ruind the quality of the large.
