Opposite of mourning...laughter! Name the dwarves (of the original 12) that died during the Battle of Five Armies.

That depends on whether you're reading the book or watching the Rankin & Bass cartoon. In the book, I believe it was Thorin, Fili and Kili that were killed out of the original 13 dwarves. But in the animated version, seven of the thirteen dwarves die. Bombur was the only other dwarf named.Which LOTR actor broke his toe during filming (and they actually used that footage, so you can see it happen every time you watch)?

Question.
PS. That was one problem I had with the movie... it screwed up the pronounciation of stuff like that. Both names are supposed to be 3 syllables, not 2.

Three. What do Gandalf and Sauron have in common, in terms of what they are?

I'm looking for something specific. Saruman, Sauron, and Gandalf are all <blank>. Hint: it has to do with music...

They are all Maia, supposedly. I think that's what you mean. Here's a toughie: How do dwarves reproduce?

Very hairily! Are you referring to the scene in Two Towers where Gimli tells Eowyn that dwarves just spring from holes in the ground?

It's pretty obvious if you've read the Silmarillion.

Nice try, but think what Gimli says after that, right before he falls off the horse. Oh and Ink, I haven't read the Silmarillion!
