I can tell you haven't played mafia before, or your very inexperianced. To vote no lynch is basically giving scum an extra day, which is something that can be fatal to town. But I guess it's tradition to vote the new guy(don't worry this only happens on the first few games).

You can't accuse me of bandwagon, cause I started it. And voting no lynch "takes away a day from the town." The first day you have NO clues whatsoever. So you have something like 3/4 chance of helping the mafia the first day. And 1/4 chance of getting one. That's my reasoning behind it.
