LOST Mafia - Day 5 - cena-rules abducted!

All I gotta say to this is WTF. If we need a day 1 sacrifice then this could potentially be our best target for it especially given how two sided this character is described and not to mention the fact that animorph may not really help that much in this game. On the other hand if he did revive mafia during the night we should know by them "reappearing" within the game so it might not be that hard to just lynch them again the next day. All in all though I'm for the lynch of animo

Normally I hate to go for someone with the philosophy, "they might be town, but they're useless." But atm, we have no other leads, and Juliet seems like a role that may betray us even if ani is town; it all depends on what AD thinks her motivation is on the show. So, let's just go for him, and maybe a scummy person will reveal themselves on the way.

I'm not sure why he would claim pro-mafia unless he WAS a Jester. Or, perhaps he knows the mafia has a doc of some sort, and is playing that the doc will protect him from any actions against him. I'm not sure. I am curious to see what kind of "ability" he has.

it seems to me like he's just really, really confused. He doesn't understand his own role, so he's had a hard time explaining it to us. He seemed to think that reviving mafia was a good thing for town, so he revealed that first while hiding everything else. When he did explain everything else, he said it like he was revealing a dark secret, even though it was actually either stuff that would forgive him, or just confuse everyone. Or maybe not; I still don't understand his role. I don't understand Juliet in the show, either.

Hmmm, lots happened in the last 24 hours.

For those who are really confused now, let me summarize some facts that may help you to understand animo's case:

First of all some background info about Dr. Juliet in Lost:Juliet was brought to the island by Ben (others) to find a cure for pregnant women, because due some reason all pregnant women on the island die. On season 4, it became clear that Ben loved her. We even learned that Ben sent Goodwin (others) to the group of survivors knowing that he would probably be killed. The reason was that Ben learned that Juliet was having a relationship with Goodwin.

Juliet believes that she won't be able to find a cure and wants to go back to USA, however Ben never allowed her to do so. Juliet first met Jack when Jack (leading survivors) was kidnapped and fell in love with him. On Season 4 she is together with Jack. They both want to leave the island as soon as possible.

Now coming to the facts and conclusions from all the discussions of this mafia game:

1) The game started at the beginning of SEASON 4!

2) Animo claimed to be Dr. Juliet. He wrote that he is a townie doc. He has also a one time ability to revive a mafia member (others). This is a one time ability and has to be decided to be used or not, as soon as a mafia is killed/lynched.
On day 3 he will be the mason partner of someone.

Animo had no reason to claim at that moment, but he did so. There is the possibility that he maybe a jester. However he claimed all this details that fit so well in the storyline of the original Lost, so that I believe that he is a noob and telling the truth, i.e. he is not a jester.

In original Lost (at the beginning of Season 4) Juliet is together with Jack's survivor group that wants to leave the island, so Animo is belonging to Jack's group of survivors. In that respect Juliet (Animo) is pro-town as of now, although she worked for the others in earlier seasons.

As Animo is a doc, he may have the ability to protect someone during nights.
Animo: Did I get this right?

Animo's ability to revive a mafia (others) makes sense to me, because he worked for the others in earlier seasons. The critical question will be "will he use this power or will he choose not to use it". In my opinion at that stage Animo will decide if he wants to convert to mafia (join again the others) or stay with Jack (as pro-town).

If he chooses to revive the dead mafia, highly probable we will know this by AD's announcement, so that we can conclude that animo chose the path of mafia. If he chooses not to revive, we will know this also.

Although I'm not sure of that, animo's mason partner maybe either Ben (if he chooses to revive mafia) or Jack (if he chooses not to revive mafia). This is only a theory of mine, don't get stuck with it.


FINAL CONCLUSION:
Based on those facts everybody has to decide to take the risk of animo case or not. I will take the risk and not vote him, hoping that he would choose not to revive a mafia, but stay as pro-town. My criteria for my decision is that he is pro-town as of the beginning of Season 4 and that he has a power role as a doc.

If Selin is right, look for animorph to agree. I think, if he's pro-mafia, agreeing might save him a lynch. If he's a jester, I don't think he'll agree. Honestly, I wouldn't mind voting for him if he IS a jester. I think it'll save some confusion later on down the road, and this game looks to be big enough to continue if a jester wins.

By the way, killing someone just before lynch became a habit nowadays. This is the second case after the kill of wicked in Godfather's mafia.
