Well, as some of you may or may not know CS stands for Computer Science. I was just wondering if anyone here has taken this class or anything of the sort and also if you would recommend taking it.
I can only say, keep in mind that if you plan on being a CS major, colleges may or may not accept the class to count towards the major. If you plan on majoring in humanities or social sciences, AP CS might be a good way of getting a math requirement out of the way before you even start. But, of course, it always depends on the college's credit transfer policies.
I had 67 college credits when I graduated from high school and NONE of them transferred to the college I ended up attending, because they didn't accept credits that counted towards your HS graduation requirements.

Damn. That really sucks. I managed to get out of a history course...

Thanks.
I'm taking it this year, for the AB test. I happen to love it, definitely would recommend it. Of course, a good teacher makes all the difference.

What exactly do you want to know?
I was mostly looking for opinion of a good or bad experience. So, thanks all.

Nah, I decided sex is way better.

Well, if you take it, feel free to PM me if you have any trouble. You would be taking it in Java, right?

Well, most college classes count for 3 credits. Some CLEP tests will count for 4. My high school would substitute one semester of a college class for 2 semesters worth of a corresponding high school class. It was a pretty swell loophole.
I'm taking a bunch of computer related courses, and I quite enjoy CS (though I'm not very good at it), but only take it if you've got a free block or you plan on going into a field where it's required or it would help you.
In heaven... Everything is fine, in heaven... Everything is fine, in heaven... Everything is fine... You got your things, and I've got mine.
