i really liked the countries from page one, without the pictures.... with this, it makes it more mind boggling, and you cant read the words, if it was light colors, like almost black and white, it would look okay

I like the idea of pictures behind them...but not the way you have them. Look at the USApoc map, and how they were faded, to make things look cleaner.

Also the division lines between countries look to drawn on (because they are?).

i odnt' see a problem with having the division lines not be angular. As long as they are in the right spot, bordering the right coutnries and they look ok i'm really not seeing the problem with them.

I'm not sure what you are getting at...I'm simply saying it looks like someone drew with a crayola crayon on your map to create the lines. ;)Try refining the lines.

ok, i'll probably try doing a pencil line tool, instead of paintbrush, and trace off the original this time, not the copied part, so it looks crisper.

Sorry about the delays for getting it done, just college is bogging me down a lot. If anyone wants to finish it up i can give you the photoshop document, otherwise i was planning on overhauling the entire map january-ish, i've been doing small chunks here and there. I dindt' realise how much time tihs map woudl take, and i've taken a good look at some other maps and i think i'll use some graphic ideas from their maps in mine.
