im not sure what has happened to the players that are supposed to join your game acores and the only punishment for deadbeating is getting kicked out of your game

My team decided the following:
1 - Until Saturday for the other teams start to play;
2 - If that does not happen, calling the victory in the game;
3 - Move to the second round.

This is a wrong approach. The new game is kept by server for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks it is deleted.

So instead of waiting for all first then for all second and finally all third teams to join you MUST send a PM to ALL players, and follow up with ones who have not joined.

The order in which players join does not matter, as long as they play with their designated partner.

So far it looks like you are going to re-start a lot of games...

Don't let it be another tournament screw up...

There is zimmah, BTW???

Private games are deleted after two weeks
Tournament games are only deleted when the tournament is declared abandoned
If they do not join at the same time as their partner they will not play together.
and who exactly IS running this tournament?

I have no idea where zimmah is but he has played the first turn in his game.

You two are doing great. There is a level of responsibility that has to be placed on the players to help moderate these events.

Keep up the good work and if you missing people, post it.

Maybe the tourney admins will go through and check every game to make sure everyone has joined, maybe not. If you post here you to can be a helper :lol:

Strange re-action to the piece of advice. But I am giving you discount for being young and hot blooded. I didnt mean to attack, but your reply seems very hostile.

First of all, the game IS discarded after 15 days, no matter private or tournament or private (as just confirmed by OP).

Second, you can rely on people smartness not to join with the wrong partner. They are not dumb, you know?

Third, I didnt try to RUN the tournament; I was giving you a piece of advice, so everyone would benefit. I have successfully completed 2 public and 2 private team tournaments and have 1 ongoing. And how many you have? That is right, zero. So instead of being all worked up, you could have just listen, or at least provide a normal explanation why you don't want to do it...

and as originally sceduled the first pm's were not to be send out to tomorrow night
if the tournament is not convienent for you just let me know and ill replace you

First, originally i did not reply with anger.(mad about something else at the moment) That was in no way my intention and for that i apologize.

Second, The one team at a time pm was to attempt to ensure that games would not have to be re-played because someone joined in the wrong spot. I never said they are dumb, just a little illiterate.

Third, Ok maybe you weren't trying to make control of the tournament. And i have completed a private clan tournament and have completed 2 public tournaments, and have one going at the time as well(other than this one) Dont think you're talking to a noob tourney organizer here.

i'm currently watching the games right now(the list) to see which games are missing players.
If you have not joined your game (Second Teams) by tomorrow at 8:00 PM (GMT-5:00) then i will pm reserves.(unless you contact me before tomorrow night)

Third teams must join by Tuesday at 8:00 PM(GMT-5:00)

I and my partner (nunopa) entering the game on 13 March.
Only today the other team came, a week after.
Where is the third team?
We were the first to participate in this tournament, so we are the team 1.
And now says that if the tournament is not appropriate for us to warn to join another team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If we entered the tournament was to play and not wait for the time you want.
We will have to wait more 1 week?????
We did the entry on February 1

If you don't like how the tournament organizers are holding this tournament, drop out. it's not your tournament, the rules aren't yours to make.

i'm am sorry for not posting at this forum, but i was with my girlfriend for 5 days and tomorrow i will be home again.

sorry for not letting you all know in time.

i still logged on and replied to private messages and took most of my turns (tho i missed a turn on some games) so i wasn't away completely

i didn't know about the 2 week limit, but the reason why we pm the teams in order is we wanted to PREVENT people to join in the wrong order (either by accident or on purpose, you never know with over 140 persons, out of 140 there is always one oddity, i wanted to prevent that kind of things, or keep it to an absolute minimum, even if it is not someone's intention, what if two teams get the message on the same time, and decide to join on the same time, because the just came home from work on exactly the same time and thus, the 4 players join in a very strange order, while the first team had already joined before, and therefore the game will start directly, then we have to remake it right? and that's what i wanted to prevent. and i thought that everyone would log on once a day at least to take his/her turns anyways, so it should not take longer then 1 or 2 days for each team to join, at least that's what i thought. maybe we should make a deadline, now every time there is a 50 hours limit (something more then 2 full days and nights) after the pm is send, if there is no reaction in any way (either a private message or joining the game counts as a reaction) after the 50 hour limit, there will join either a complete new team on their spot, or a reserve player (if only 1 teammate doesn't show up)

that's fair right?

and no, i won't let my tournament screw up, and i 'm sure blake will do anything he can to help me with this tournament, and for that i thank him.

in fact, at the end of this tournament i'll give him 1 month free premium as a show of my reward to him.

i think he deserved it by all the help he gives me with this tournament.
