You're looking at "Rliles" who is yellow in this game. Somehow he made it to Sergeant First class with 54 positive comments and zero negative but that's about to change.
Basic rundown, I just started playing recently so I see a game with a colonel and 2 captains vs 2 sergeants and I figure "well why not, i'm sure they have a basic grasp of strategy, we would stand a chance" so I join.
Well we got a ridiculously good drop. Pink owned 3/4 in Australia and yellow owned something like 5 in North America. I had stacks on Ontaria, Greenland, and Iceland.
Now in my mind, the play here is obvious. You take australia as a team and you allow me time to fortify my armies out of North America onto Iceland (they were all connected) which will make a nice stack for defending and giving yellow the chance to take the rest of North America.
Yellow (rliles) saw differently. He basically refused to drop any armies on australia, even when the opposing team was throwing everything they had at it to break it (which they did repeatedly). Not only that he was attacking MY STACKS of 3 in north america refusing to wait for me to move them out.
To make matters worse he seems to have no idea of the basic concepts of Risk. He owns Alaska, NW, Alberta and western US. Blue hold Kamchatka. You would think logically he would leave armies in Alaska but no, that's the first place he takes armies out of. Of course blue walks in and takes Alaska from him.
That's where his colossal ineptitude really gets great. He has spent the last 3 turns in our game trying to kill the 2 armies blue left in Alaska. However, he doesn't just drop 3 and attack once and then wait for next turn. No. He attacks all the way down to 1 army. He attacks 4v2, get's double defense, then goes 2v2!!!!! If you don't believe me check the logs. Hilarious.
Meanwhile red, green, and blue, our opponents, are dropping everything they have against Australia and probably having a great laugh about our useless teammate.
Sorry I just had to vent.
