It was good to see him lose but what a lousy fight. He couldnt even defend himself hardly.

What's this about? (I know Shamrock was/is(?) a wrestler but is this about wrestling or UFC or what?)

Yeah, UFC. Shamrock and Tito Ortiz have had a long-standing rivalry. Fought twice before tonight, with Ortiz always winning handily. Last night was the third and final beatdown Ortiz laid on Shamrock, as Ken had the good sence to declare his retirement right afterwards.

UFC. Shamrock fought Tito Ortiz last night... well, he went into the ring with Tito. Fighting is open to interpretation.

No Tito did'nt just "win". He beat that old bastard down. Great to watch, but I've seen better fights at the special olympics...

Does UFC allow the use of weapons ala WWE?

No weapons, just big sweaty guys in leather briefs beating up on each other?

Shamrock's too old. He reminds me *goes into a flashback about baseball* of Edgar Martinez. you've never heard of him, but he's the best Seattle Mariner ever. The only team he ever played for was....Seattle. it was like 18 years of loss after loss after heartbreaking loss. Any way, my joke was that he played for so long that he'd be in a wheelchair and wheel to first base before he'd retire. That's how many hamstring injuries he had! (at least 20)

Shamrock's like Rocky, we don't need to watch any more of this stuff. Let's get someone scrawny in there who knows how to fight a bigger, burly guy. That'd be interesting.

Shamrock

I missed the fight on TV last night but saw the first two. He had no business even going into the ring last night. The same thing with the Gracie fight. UFC is going the way of Professional Boxing. The draw is what matters. The integrity of the sport is taking a beating.

Have you seen any of the Pride fights. A lot of the same fighters and some other very, very, good guys.
