I used to think maybe it was luck or coincidence, but when 2 of the top 4 players in CC are from The Netherlands, I have to believe that they're just damned good at the game!

So, other than complimenting them on outstanding gameplay, I pose the question:

What makes the Dutch so good at Risk?

Canada- not there.
However, there are good players from all countries, the ones that you see more is simply because of the # of players from that country.

US has the most people in the top 25 but the most people as well!

That's what gets me, is that Holland doesn't have, proportionally, as many people (or CC Players) but there's like 20 Dutch in the top 250 players.

It's the wooden shoes and legalized prostitution. I happen to know that wild tiger is the biggest whoremonger in amsterdam. :lol:

no really, the dutch are good because most play from a university or simular background and they dedicate to the game. however, thats not true for all dutch people, hence its why quite a lot are bottumrung as well.
for the best its theory paired with practical commonsense

or maybe that's just me

Actually the British are top although we have twice as many PC's per home then the Dutch. We have far more players in the top 25.The USA have 20 times the numbers of PCs per household with internet connections so...They really need a few lessons off the Dutch. :twisted:
