Your high school

I decided to check out where I went to high school. It's been 22 years since I graduated so I wondered if any of my old teachers were still there. I discovered that the Dean of Boys - Harold Canady, has now become the principal there! Many a detention I served under this man's watchful eye...lol

Here's the website. I went to school in Kokomo, Indiana which is so different than where I now live in southern California.

I also found that my old history teacher, Rick Sutton, has now been promoted to Assistant Principal/Building & Grounds. Here's a picture of the administration staff and you can see what Mr. Canady & Mr. Sutton (yeah, I still call them that :lol:

) look like today.

Anyway, whether you're still in high school or an old fart like myself, feel free to share your school's website and describe your school a little bit. Perhaps you might want to share your college's website as well if that's where you are in life.

Good idea.

Went to high school way back when (ok, 3 years ago) at ye olde Wilbraham and Monson Academy. Day and boarding school, founded in 1804, we had thefirst Chinese student ever to study in the US, ex-school of the Thai royal family. It's come down a bit since then (I mean, I graduated, for pete's sake) but it was fun. We had a great soccer team, beat a lot of bigger schools, actually got a kid drafted in Major League Soccer pretty high this year.

Now I go to Clark University in Worcester. Fun kids. Freud gave a famous lecture here way back, statue's a fun photo op.

I went to Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH... http://www.pinkertonacademy.net/
Affectionately known as 'The Academy' by students and teachers alike, it's a huge high school by NH standards. It's more like a small college campus than a high school...fifteen or so buildings and still growing. The alumni association puts out a monthly newsletter to all alumni. My wife and I each get one every month, so we keep up pretty closely with what's going on, though we haven't been to any reunions or anything crazy like that. Our tenth reunion just went by...how time flies.

I did my undergrad work and my masters at the University of New Hampshire. http://www.unh.edu/
It's one of the largest land grant universities in the country, so there was a pretty heavy emphasis on farming and livestock in the biological science program (which I was in). That was rather funny. I actually took one course in which livestock penis size ended up on exams. Thankfully, that's info I've forgotten. Despite that little humorous tidbit, UNH is a very solid school where undergraduate research is stressed. That actually makes it a great place to study science because you can actively engage in research (on lots of more interesting things than livestock) from your freshman year on. Oh, and the hockey team kicks ass....go wildcats.

Now, I'm finishing up my doctoral work at the University of Pennsylvania. http://www.upenn.edu/ There is a bit of the expected ivy league pretense, but I like it anyway. The resources are outstanding and I love philly, so it all works out.

I guarantee that no more than 3 of you have ever heard of my High School. I am still in touch with 1/3 of my graduating class.

Of course, when there were only 12 of you, it makes it easier.

No, it's named for John and James Pinkerton, who were Irish immigrant businessmen in southern NH back in the early 1800s.

Laramie High School. Last year (when I graduated), we had the largest graduating class for several year, around 235 students. Out of around 753 total students.

My school doesn't really have much of a website, more of an online newspaper. Anyways, here's the graduation article for my class.

i go to peoria notre dame high school. its supposed to be the best school in the area but i barely ever go so i wouldnt know

we are the irish and we suck at everything exept soccer golf and cross country.

I thought you were still in highschool. You are almost my age. I'm stunned. I assume, until I hear differently that everyone here is a lot younger.

It does seem to fly right by though, seriously. Perhaps you haven't read a lot of my posts. I'm almost always going on about something that happened in the 70's or 80's. I think the oldest person I've met here is NUKE. I have no idea if he still plays on CC.

I went to a very small school called Texico. My graduating class had 21 students. It is still there and it is now a 2A school. It keeps growing every year. A lot of my teachers are still there and my volleyball coach is there as well. My youngest son will start Jr. High there in 3 years.

i go to school in Garden City a small little farming community...We have like 300 kids from K-12.we also play 6 man football!
