I've played one, maybe two games with kalish and I think he's a smart player, so I would agree that it would be dumb of him to link himself to lovo, and he probably wouldn't do that. Linking the two of them is one thing, but I still stand on the fact that lynching someone quickly who hadn't yet defended themselves is scummy.

You say you're town, that you push for a lynch to see things happen. I do the same, but you were pushing on someone who was seemingly at the time unable to defend themselves. Being aggressive on someone like that is useless. Town don't know who ANYONE is, so why push a lynch on someone when it won't give you any leads or much of any info? Plus town need to be careful with their votes because that's all they've got.

Also I'm like you in that I hate players who never saying anything or try to really play the game and come up with useful thoughts, but speeding up the day doesn't help either.

Where is TWO?

It's true and I completely agree with everything you said. The main difference between our styles is you are careful and patient; 2 virtues that I completely lack, thus accusations of scuminess in many, many games even when I'm town.

Hopefully we will play a few more together, contributing players are in short supply these days and it's nice to see someone doing so, even if they are contributing accusations against me...

TWO may be away or busy or something, he's do in Bar Room mafia as well to start day 3.

Im going to assume thta you worded that poorly again.

I think that Cena REALLY needs to get his ass over here and contribute, because all he's done is vote without saying anything.

Fircoal should change that. Meh, he's a fooollll.

I really need to re-read...

Okay, I re-read. From my readings, haha, I got quite suspicious of Neutrino. Him being a submariner, he jumped on to vote Kalish and FOS lovo, even after lovo defended himself. He should, as a normally-good player, of just waited a while. He looked like he was going to want to lynch them pretty fast, whilst no one had time to either defend themselves or get questioned. If you're not bothered to re-read, this is the post.

Neutrino wrote:Good work MountainLion. From what you've written, Kalish seems the most scummy, though LoVo isn't far behind.

Vote: Kalish
FOS: LoVo

I don't know why you kept mentioning that two confirmed Pro-Town players voted the same person, though. Neither of them had any day-investigative powers, so their votes would have been based off simple intuition, like everyone else. If one was a Day Cop and the other was a Mason with that Day Cop it would be excellent evidence, but as it is neither of them had a better chance of hitting scum than the average townie.

He seemed like he was just praising ML because Neutrino is lazy.

Which brings me to firth, a couple of posts down. He probably was also lazy, and so jumped onto lynch Kalish. Not having a mind of his own, this would be perfectly normal for a bored out firth. But he didn't even attempt, most likely, to even make a reason. Just stating..

firth4eva wrote:Upon re-reading vote kalish

If this isn't mindless town-bored posts, I have no idea what it is. Firth got a FOS on firth, and his reason was that he just skimmed the hell out of day 1. No matter if it is day 1, or fircoal's day 1, I believe you should never skim out of a whole day. This was stupid on your part.

Now is the current "let's bandwagon on this dude!" votee.

cena-rules wrote:re-reading

vote lovo

also I love ML.

I think lovo today and then kal tomorrow

Worth nothing of substance. Normally it isn't during mafia, but hey. Why does he love ML? Because he's providing a reason to vote someone, or because he's the godfather and all the goons are too lazy? Improbable, but with fircoal, wanting an old-veteran as a godfather to get them into the game more is likely. Highly likely.

So, this leads me to Vote: Neutrino
FOS: Firth
FOS: ML

So Neutrino, firth and cena are lazy, and yet you vote Neutrino who said a lot more in his post than both firth and cena combined AND didn't even FOS cena?

I voted Neutrino based on the suspicion that he jumped onto something way too early, when you didn't even vote for either of those counter-parts. Combined, no, because if you take out the wishful thinking at the bottom of his post, then it wouldn't be bigger than both of them.

Cena is already under enough suspicion, well, none really. He's a bandwagon. I don't want to add something that doesn't even need to be added because most people are going after cena anyway.

Hmm ok, well Kalish's explanations satisfy me for now, Unvote
I agree with a FOS Firth (forgot to add that somewhere in my previous post), as for Neut his post doesn't strike me as particularly scummy and he added some input. It looks like Cena is the most suspicious in that line of thought with his 'lynch lovo then kalish tomorrow' which is pretty ridiculous; granted it's an easy wagon but I'd like to add some pressure on him to see him talk more. Vote Cena

How did that qualify as "way to fast"? Do I have to wait for the bandwagon to enter full swing before voting? Hell, if I "jumped onto something way to fast" (presumably because I'm scum who knows this bandwagon is going to hit a townie, yes?) why did I post that little question/criticism/speech to the universe in general (since it wasn't technically a question)? I admit, it was largely superficial, but any scum worth their salt wouldn't criticise any information that helps their cause in even the most minor way.

You jumped in to vote for Kalish, to get rid of him, presumably. Sure ML made good evidence, but they both refuted the claims well enough for most people to unvote them. You still haven't. Your post just raised up my gay-- I mean scum dar.

I seriously laughed when I read this, giving away that fact that I'm definitly not working to my co-workers....

Unrelated:

There are 3 types of people who jump a vote early, in hopes of a bandwagon on little-to-no evidence and without elaboration (usually after a well-worded post by a good contributor): dumbasses, scum and lazy townies- all of which are a liability to the town.

My time was limited that day and I felt that responding to a direct attack on myself was more time-efficient than examining other people's long-winded arguments in-depth and adjusting mine appropriately.

Anyways, now that I have had time to read properly, I think I'll swap my priority around. Lovo, rather than Kalish. Unvote: Vote: LoVo He claims to have always been for either lifesaver's lynch or replacement, but I didn't see much evidence of the latter.
Of course, I've never been one for killing someone while they're not present, so I don't think we'll make much headway on that front. Who else would make a decent lynch...?

We can't lynch LoVo if he's in the hospital, thats not right. All mafia-related reasons aside, I just think its poor form.

When he returns, if a suitable reason appears, I'll gladly vote him; I just don't think it should happen while he's away/in bad shape.

You know what, not only is it poor form but in the context of this game Neut just made a giant leap on Scumchter's scale. If you read Lovo's post right after the ML case it's pretty obvious he had a way to defend himself if forced to. To push* for his lynch now would effectively prevent possibly important info from leaking out.
*You might claim that saying "oh my, who else could be a decent lynch?" isn't really pushing, but it's just fluff and show. Something scum like to do to not be accused after the lynching of a townie.
Man, if Skittles is starting to make sense in mafia what is the world coming to
Since Cena might also be a decent lynch but I'd rather wait for his replacement, Unvote Vote Neut

This sir, is major BS. When I play scum I try to appear as townie as possible, which involves putting doubt on something that helps my cause. For a very simple reason: that way if you get a townie lynched it doesn't backfire on you, and it's not like it'll make a real difference if a case against a townie is already convincing. That said I don't think it's particularly incriminatory to have jumped early on Kalish, more like your defense reeks of scummy WIFOMing. :P

Yea my first thought after reading Neut's last post was 'SCUM', but I thought it was to OMGUS/scummy for me to throw a vote on him right there, especially when he was proposing the lynch of my supposed scum buddy.

Unofficial Vote Count

Kalish (2) Firth, Frenchie-chan,
Cena (2) LSU, Russian,
LV (2) Cena, Neut,
Neutrino (3) Skittles, ga7, diddle,

Does anyone know where DN is? We haven't heard from Crab, LSU and dustn in a while.

I tend to agree with ga7. Lovo mentioned knowing an important town role. Plus Neut says "I've never been one for killing someone while they're not present, so I don't think we'll make much headway on that front" and yet he still votes Lovo when he's in the hospital.
