Apologies for this if it has been covered already - I just came back from holidays and re-installed the new BOB, flicked through the last few pages on this thread but couldn't find anything...

My problem is that the stats for each player underneath the map have a coloured background at the moment which is the same colour as the text for the stats (eg the red player has red text in the stats and a red background behind that text). This is making it impossible to read the text.

Is there any way of turning this off/fixing this? Couldn't find anything on the menu/help.

I'm also finding BOB very buggy - i can deploy but the numbers don't show up on the map properly and I can't attack without turning BOB off - is there an easy fix to this? Any help would be much appreciated!

Sweet, thanks hecter!

Bob version 4.1.6...http://i29.tinypic.com/2rwnqk1.jpg

Bob version 4.1.10...http://i28.tinypic.com/296ja81.jpg

I'm also having issues with both my desktop and my laptop with having to exit the game and reenter every time I deploy troops, fortify territory, or even post messages. I don't know if that is the website or if anyone else is having that issue.

I can't help you with the main highlighting issue, but it looks to me like you might benefit from clicking once on the "Map align left" button on the BOB menu. Also, have you followed the steps in this post?

Hey was just curious if anyone else loses their countdown clock in speed games. If this problem has been solved, please let me know of the fix!

Thanks

GK - can you try this...

The creator of BOB wrote:OK so I assume you have BOB installed - and that you have a monkey in the bottom right hand corner...

1st thing you need to check - is to see if you have more than one BOB...

So right click on the monkey and select "Manage User Scripts" - if you have more than one BOB - the best thing to do is just remove both and download the latest again. (remove by selecting and clicking uninstall)

Once you have the latest reinstalled - see if things are working...

If they are not - then you have some cached data...

OK there are 2 different caches to attempt to clear.

Tools -> Clear Private Data -> Select "Cache" & "Download History" -> OK

Tolls -> Options -> Network -> Advanced -> "Clear Now"

Now retest...

If this is still failing - then we have to go the really slow route...

goto http://www.conquerclub.com/maps

Open each XML file in turn - and press CTRL F5... This will ensure a refresh occurs on the XML.

If that doesn't work, check the AJAX BOB thread in here

purely visual of course, but on the my games page the BOB menu should be re-arranged so that the clock format gets placed above the help and the version check

Possibly...

However in terms of the UI - at the moment you have 2 versions...
a) Game
b) Site

If I were to put it above - then the menu would keep going up and down as you navigate around the site...

If you append to the end - then it's just an extra option that doesn't move the current options.

What version are you running?

If you're not on 4.1.10 then you need to upgrade...

Yeti, first off you are the man for handling the script for us all. Second, my question is how to unhide the menu after hiding it. I just restarted firefox and that worked. Is that the only way?
