Game Color Alterations!

Ahoy Ahoy Everyone!

As I'm sure most of you know, we've been blessed with 8 Player Games for a while now. What a riot they are! But when we released them, the additional colors were far from being the most clear, readable, etc. We heard your cries of woe ("Is that Orange...I can't tell!"), and as some of you may know we set up an Ad-Hoc focus group to help us select better colors for 8 Player Games. The "Color Committee" was a huge success, and I'd like to thank each and everyone who helped participate in the discussion and the decision of new colors. Your service in helping better Conquer Club is much appreciated by us all!

The colors as they will appear on the map:

#FF0000: Red (Both Same)
#009A04: Green (Both Same)
#0000FF: Blue (Both Same)
#FFFF00: Yellow (Bright)
#FF00FF: Pink (Both Same)
#00FFFF: Cyan (Bright)
#FF9922: Orange (Both Same)
#7F7F7F: Slate (Both Same)
Neutral is White

These colors will appear in all 'Gray Interface Areas':

(I.E. Log Window, Chat Window, Player Info Widow)

#FF0000: Red (Both Same)
#009A04: Green (Both Same)
#0000FF: Blue (Both Same)
#DDDD00: Yellow (Muted)
#FF00FF: Pink (Both Same)
#00CCCC: Cyan (Muted)
#FF9922: Orange (Both Same)
#7F7F7F: Slate (Both Same)

Neutral is Black

Also note that PINK and CYAN are now switched in the color order for clarity.

And so those are the changes we've got in store! The new colors will be uploaded at 11 AM EST. So keep your eyes out!

And also keep your eyes out for more Ad-Hoc advisory groups to be used in the future! We want you all to help in creating a better Conquer Club, and I know that with all the talent, skill, and enthusiasm we have here...the sky is no limit!

That is seriously going to mess with me for a while.... I am way too used to seeing grey....

okay - doesn't seem to be working too well though.

Bob has been updated & cache cleared. It seems to be the correct colors.

I've been playing with the new colours for about 3 days - it's really tricky if you're playing doubles and you're team 3!!!!
