done. Thanks for the heads up owen.
Alright. Its official . In light of current events with LoD and CC as a whole. I've changed my password from the known 1-word common password my room-mates had access to to a new password unknown to any of them.
My games should have under 10 remaining, I will double check.
As of this post (you can mark the time) WILDERBEAST will join no other games. I must apologize to the lot of members on this community with whom I've had my differences and to those I train I apologize for the upcomming cutback in meeting times and so forth. I alone know the new password for my account (as I originally intended to to just throw in a random set of keystrokes and not know myself, it escaped me for a quick second that I needed to confirm a new password (duh).
The most I intend to follow up with on CC at this point in time given many RL issues and on the side an inner clan issue, I will be scanning over the forums occasionally, mainly Q and A and strat segments. Perhaps an odd appearance to see what is happening in Flame wars. As far as playing more games on CC. I am tired of being targetted to the points where mods are critisized for clearing me. CC doesnt need much of this hassle and neither do I. My account premium gift I'm sure will expire shortly and to satisfy all those intent on causing a fuss regarding 1 shared premium account, My room-mates will no longer have access to CC games. I can only truly say I feel bad for 1 room-mate. Among other reasons Crimson has begun violating some of the basic fundamentals I expected him to uphold while playing games under my name. A room-mate has decided to play his own account and thus I dont want it being said : "Beast's room-mate is now playing his account and on beasts. For this reason
my account will expire. Not sure about the specifics as I've never had an account expiratory situation before but I will assume the premium will expire with it.
The break will be good for me as I'm busy anyway and hopefully this will relieve some tension. I am taking this leave knowing I did not cheat, I did not multi and I never cooperated with secret alliances. Thank you multi hunters and mods for not jumping to conclusions and accomodating my situation. It was appreciated with no intent of breaking rules and I thank you on behalf of the lot of us over here.
Thank you to LoD (shewolf for the primary introduction) for the great times. Chats, challenges and introductions to other online games. Thank you for everything.
To codeblue and company, (I really cant be bothered to look back through all the forum pages lol) there are no hard feelings regarding the flaming and attacks. In a sense it was like an add-on game outside of the basic risk games played here on the site so as much as you guys brought a rise out of me, irritated and possibly for a short time even angered me, I really have to look back on it now and laugh. In a courtroom they say "innocent until proven guilty". But CC is a courtroom where my situation could really have no evidence proven against it and on the otherside of the double edged sword, there was nothing outside of my word (looking at it from your perspectives) to prove my statements, even if they were true. So to this I say that its been fun and as a friend once told me, CC isnt a transferable skill and I agree. There is no such amazing number of wins vs losses that will be of any help to me when I wake up to tackle the next day.
Harijan... lol sorry pal. I guess we just couldnt coordinate the challenge you had in mind. Look at it this way, you save points
To SuSu in particular I apologize for not being capable of finishing our 1-1 feudal game. I hope you are having fun with the map and grasping the many options. It truly is one of the greats and there is always the potential for an interesting game on it because of the numerous strategies playable for each castle, multiply that by the numerous playstyles of random CC players and you are guarantied to have an interesting game on that map for 90% of the ones you play.
To additional trainees, you can get me on msn as always. Whenever I am doing micro-economics or Microsoft office courses I tend to log into msn, likewise while typing up and translating documents so I'm busy but often I linger around especially with the sports seasons died down here. I will continue to field questions and no question is a stupid question.
May you all enjoy life, live it to the fullest, excel at everything you do. Remember that nothing in life is worth doing if you do not enjoy doing it well. This is a great and convenient site to play a wonderful strategy game on because of the avoided setup and space needed to play the actual board game + the additional maps you can play with the "casual" aspect fitting right in. If there was 1 thing that I had to dislike about the game going out, it wouldnt be dice. It wouldnt be the feedback system, it wouldnt be flamewars or any of the styles of play. My one irritation in this game is/was when a player would join a multiplayer game, lose momentum and begin throwing the game or acting irrational and losing focus of what they joined for in the first place.
Join the game to win it. Dont join a game with the intention of making sure 1 certain player loses at all costs. You be the won to get the win, you do what you have to do to get those points and play the best game you can. Dont cheat a 2nd player out of a win opportunity and dont let a winner of your game think they won because you chose to "give" them the game. Play your best at all times, if you see that "Begin Turn" button, it means you can do something ingame. Players will appreciate you doing the best to advance yourself (no matter how hopeless it seems) moreso than collecting points because of intentional bad play casting a sour taste on their win.
Sincerely, Beast
