On the other hand, preventing that would again slow the games. I have often done that "double team turn" thing, but usually unintentionally, and it's happened to me, too. No problem, really, in my opinion.
Hear, hear! My very limited skills in Russian are indeed that, very limited, but the translittered (?) writing gets me even more tongue-tied than the cyrillic writing.
Edit: the reply was, of course, to the choice of alphabet...
There is a known multiaccount / cheater in the game? Even just one of those multi's? I have one such game going now, and though I dislike the idea of truces, I'm very much considering suggesting it.
Exactly. That's where the 1 hour limit comes in nicely. It leaves room for the little interruptions of having a life, but also puts a limit on it. If you are doing your turn in a morning, get interrupted, have to leave it unfinished, it's not really needed to have it waiting 9 hours until you get ...
Ho ho ho. Well, indeed, if we are playing a boardgam IRL and someone is taking more than 5 minutes for a turn, there's bound to be some noises. More than 15 minutes? The noises are getting louder and the remarks start to have a bite in them, especially if it's not your first or second time playing ...
Oh, beautiful! On visual side, though, I would appreciate a better visibility for water as an obstacle. Also, the blue continent is quite close to the shade of water, maybe a slight modification on it or the water colour?
I'd say that with 24 hour time limit, maybe 12 hours too, but the next thing should be something like ten minutes, as five minutes sounds a bit short. 4 and 8 hours sound pretty silly, as people need to sleep and work, too. 1 hour even worse - a 6 player game could take max 6 hours per round with ...
This, too, can be handled for example with a pen and paper kind of solution. The games have numbers, the number can be typed to the game finding page and thus you find the game. Or, if it's a spesific person whose games you want to watch, type that name there.
There is at least three names I'd like to see on the map: Athens, Sparta and Thebe. There already was some talk about Athens, but those other two are also names that mean a lot in ancient Greek history, especially Sparta. I could dig into a couple of history books and give some further input later ...
Just tossing asome ideas here, as I don't have the original WoT map handy, but how about putting some unpassable areas in the map in the form of unpopulated areas. For example Caralain Grass... And if I recall correctly, the Two Rivers was storywise unaccessible from anywhere but through Baerlon ...
