2017-10-07 20:35:27 - -1-1-3-: Should be in log soon =)
2017-10-07 20:36:31 - -1-1-3-: Or not: ukey may have broken it on his last turn in fact
2017-10-08 17:58:51 - Extreme Ways: I cant risk taking another card
2017-10-11 13:18:34 - Ukey: Pretty sure I haven't broken any bonuses, and I don't think there's a new bonus....almost, but not quite.
2017-10-12 01:46:29 - josko.ri: MTIceman41 sitting
2017-10-12 19:36:57 - Extreme Ways: im not near jfm's bonuses and neither can I afford to card
2017-10-12 20:00:29 - -1-1-3-: Sure.
2017-10-12 20:01:07 - -1-1-3-: I was referring to josko's in fact.. but things seem to have changed anyway
2017-10-12 20:02:35 - Extreme Ways: didnt border him either
2017-10-12 20:11:01 - jfm10: good thing about terts is i can see the big stacks :)
2017-10-24 13:07:37 - -1-1-3-: @jfm: reading your comment on global chat.. I imagine you're about to try commit suicide vs me : ) ?
2017-10-24 13:07:43 - -1-1-3-: hope you're not ^^
2017-10-24 13:12:14 - jfm10: depends on what suicide means i reckon
2017-10-24 13:16:17 - jfm10: m10: dang it 113..i am going to have 9 spoils in a nuke game
2017-10-24 13:16:39 - jfm10: that was my global chat :)
2017-10-24 13:31:17 - jfm10: i would be hard pressed to take 9 territories lol
2017-10-24 14:20:57 - -1-1-3-: ^ ^
2017-10-24 14:21:37 - -1-1-3-: now im partly in your bonus region.. kind of sorry: had to go and see if i could take it (that is... if your stack(s) would have been in the other region)
2017-10-24 14:21:57 - -1-1-3-: now i guess no one can (re)take that region
2017-11-06 16:11:12 - Ukey: If josko.ri is going to purposely not end his turn in order to avoid spoils, is there an appropriate group response?
2017-11-06 16:11:55 - Ukey: Seems gbd88 employs the same tactic.
2017-11-06 16:13:52 - Ukey: My intent isn't to revisit the standard debate about "cheap tactics" but to explore other ideas when players are not all using a uniform set of tactics.
2017-11-10 16:45:56 - josko.ri: I consider running out of time as additional strategy element which may or may not be used
2017-11-10 16:47:07 - josko.ri: I know not everyone agrees but that is just my opinion. In team games and in 1v1 games I ask my opponents do they agree to use that strategy and I use it only if they agree. however in multiplayer games I cannot ask everyone for agreement
2017-11-11 19:00:22 - Ukey: Not much of a code if it's implemented inconsistently.
2017-11-16 15:32:26 - Ukey: And of course, as a tactic, it's relative value increases dramatically in group games and in situations like this tourney.
2017-11-16 15:35:13 - Ukey: Both you and GBD88 are skillful enough players that you don't need to resort to using that tactic. But it clearly allows for a huge advantage.
2017-11-16 15:36:23 - Ukey: Why do you bother giving your opponent the option in team games and 1v1 games?
2017-11-16 15:37:46 - Ukey: Honestly, I've lost a lot of respect for both of you (I know, I know...."as if I care what you think of me or my tactics.")
2017-11-19 15:44:27 - josko.ri: in 1v1 and team games there is only one side which need to agree or disagree about this rule. in multiplayer games I would need to ask everyone and giving how many players are there it would always be someone to disagree
2017-11-19 15:45:20 - josko.ri: but you see someone this kind of play backfires to me, as you are breaking my bonuses only because you are mad at me because of the rule, not because breaking benefits you in any way
2017-11-19 15:45:45 - josko.ri: so sometimes the rule serves in my favor, sometimes obviously opposite. it is not always win-win situation
2017-11-19 15:55:26 - josko.ri: in Freestyle 1 or 2 minute speed games everyone uses this strategy, in Battle Royales that are played around new year and in other periods of year
2017-11-19 15:56:24 - josko.ri: So if it can be used in speed Battle Royales by everyone, I dont see why in other game types this tactics should be cheap. For me this is additional strategic option
2017-11-21 01:05:29 - Ukey: I understood everything you wrote the first time; no need to repeat it with slightly different language. And no, not everybody uses "this strategy" in 1 or 2 minute speed games (why not 3 or more?) and Battle Royales.
2017-11-21 01:06:01 - Ukey: As you say, it can be used by anyone. But it certainly isn't used by everyone.
2017-11-21 01:07:57 - Ukey: I just admire the hypocrisy behind your application of the strategic option; selectively asking where it's simple and convenient. But when it's inconvenient or logistically complicated you just unilaterally use it.
2017-11-21 01:08:50 - Ukey: More likely, you recognize that the larger the group the more likely it is that somebody finds it a disagreable tactic and won't agree to your terms.
2017-11-21 01:10:10 - Ukey: I'm certainly not "mad." My strategic and tactical choices are made simply because I believe they give me the best chance to win.
2017-11-23 15:58:31 - josko.ri: you are selectively attacking only my bonuses, you are good player to know that strategy like that cannot bring you win in 10-player game, especially where they are other players with bigger bonuses than mine
2017-11-23 15:59:10 - josko.ri: I support the run out of time strategy however when i have one opponent i ask them do they also support so it is 50/50% chance they will say yes or not
2017-11-23 16:00:13 - josko.ri: if I ask the same in 18-multiplayer game then there is almost 100% chance that there will be at least one player who disagrees so I am in very disadvanteous position if I do the same in multiplayer game
2017-11-23 16:00:41 - josko.ri: anyway it seems like Mad777 is working on clarifying this in rules, if he does it then there will be no disputes
2017-11-23 16:05:07 - josko.ri: if you are looking for hypocrisy then please look at the mirror when you are saying your moves are working towards your win while all you are doing here is purposedly preventing me from winning
2017-11-23 16:05:32 - josko.ri: because of your actions, both you and me have zero chances of winning here
2017-11-29 18:25:01 - Ukey: No, I'm not a good player. I don't realize that.
2017-12-09 01:28:35 - jfm10: gg everyone
2017-12-09 13:44:50 - Ukey: Nope, not when people are playing by two sets of rules. What's interesting is that CC proposal to eliminate this "loophole" is essentially the case for regulation in society. Apparently, you can't count on people to control their own behavior.
2017-12-14 08:30:15 - -1-1-3-: GG
