My Games Screen

Post by molestar »

The time remaining until next move should be on the main My Games Screen so you could see all the remaining time in each of your games.

Who else agrees?

I think this would be cool. Not entirely necessary, considering it's just a click or 10 , but I can see how it'd be annoying for those with slow refresh rates.

Time suggestions

Post by grinter87 »

I believe that the time left in each game should be displayed in the active games screen, instead of going in each one and checking them all. Just a suggestion i've heard from a couple of people. Thanx

Time left in the turn

Post by Tubby Rower »

Is it possible to get the time left in the turn in the games list? I find myself clicking on each game to get the time left. If hits to the server is an issue then this could help resolve part of it so we wouldn't have to "enter" a game to find the time remaining.

I'll second this suggestion. I find myself doing the same thing and having the time would have me just refreshing the My Games page as opposed to opening a game, going back to My Games, opening a game. Imagine the hits with the number of games premium users are playing.

you could also just download the greas monkey plug in thing... it has a dynamic clock. you would still have to enter the game but you wouldnt have to refresh.

Turn timer on the active games page.

Post by Evil Semp »

Put a turn time on the active games page.

When you have a lot of active games you could scroll down the active game list and see which game you might be running out of time for your turn.

For me this is my number 1 priority change I would like to see. With Christmas coming time on PC reduces and i'm risking deadbeating just because i'm not able to get through all games at once. Having to keep going through each game to just check how long is left is ridiculou.

In addition having it on the RSS feed would be wonderful.

Please as a nice Chrissy present to tals :)

I don't play a ton of games so it's hard for me to understand. If you see it's your turn, why don't you just play it? Why would you want to go see how much time is left and then not play?

You pretty much answer it - if you only play a couple of games its no biggie. I tend to play between 20 and 30 games - not a huge amount but enough, i play that amount and i chose premium because most times when i check my games i will have a few waiting. however the problem occurs when time gets shorter. so i get back tonight, i've been out all day a little gaming the previous night. 10 games in the queue - i don't have time to play 10 games properly but i want to make sure i don't dgeadbeat either. this amenment wold make such a big improvement to my gaming on cc - and i'm guessing it would be very easy to implement.

ps this is posted using a pda so please excuse the lack of caps - and hopefully clarifies why i'm not playing games instead of posting :) till you implement pda game support of course

i coan understand what you were saying :D
what language do you speak?
what you wrote would probably be better like this:
And after that, "sort by time" or something like that will come so you can see which games have little time left and you wont have to scroll

I have to agree Lack. This would be my top priority request too. If it makes it easier for you it should help premium accounts the most.

If the my games page shows the time left and you can sort by that then you can tell how many games you HAVE to play without missing and how many of them just became your turn but you have 23 hours left to take your turn.
