Beauty and the Geek [Possible End - See Page 2]

Welcome to Beauty and the Geek!
This is a DOUBLES tournament (premium only please)!
This tournament will be roughly based on the reality show, Beauty and the Geek:
When you sign up, please choose which player will be the Beauty and which will be the Geek - if you don't then I'll decide for you!
Each Stage will consist of two rounds, the Beauty round and the Geek round.
For the Beauty round I will use Map Rank to find four maps that two Beauties are very good at, but that their partners have under 5 unique kills on (or as low as possible!). Pairs with the same map will play against each other - the pair who wins their game in the lowest number of rounds* get to choose which team is sent to the elimination round.
*Edit: With a range of maps from Doodle Earth to USA Great Lakes being played, there would be a big advantage to the Doodle Earth players. For each round, the players on the smallest map will have 3 added to their round score, 2 added to the 2nd smallest map, and 1 added to the 2nd biggest map - just to make it a bit fairer.
For the Geek round the same idea will happen - you'll play on a map that the Geek is very good at, and that the Beauty has under 5 unique kills on. As with the Beauty round, the pair who wins their game in the lowest number of rounds* get to choose which team is sent to the elimination round.

Elimination Rounds
The two pairs that have been sent to the Elimination Round will play-off against each other. They will play the map that each pair has just played in the main round - if there is a tie I will find another map which is weak for all four players. The losing team will be eliminated from the tournament.
Stage 1: 8 Teams, 1 Beauty game and 1 Geek game
Stage 2: 7 Teams, 1 Beauty game and 1 Geek game. One pair will be randomly decided to be through to Stage 3 automatically, but they will not have a chance to choose who is sent to the Elimination Round.
Stage 3: 6 Teams, Best of 3 Beauty games and Best of 3 Geek games. The rounds of the two winning games (or quickest two if the team wins all three games) will be added together to find who won in the lowest number of rounds.
Stage 4: 5 Teams, Best of 3 again and one pair will be randomly through to Stage 5, in the same way as Stage 2.
Stage 5: 4 Teams, Best of 5 Beauty games and Best of 5 Geek games.
Stage 6: 3 Teams, Best of 5 again. The pair who has won the most games in the tournament so far will be automatically through to the Final Stage. No Elimination Round - the winning team in the Best of 5 match will go through to the Final. If there is a tie the teams will repeat a Beauty game and a Geek game until a team wins both games.
Final Stage: 2 Teams, Best of 7 Beauty games and Best of 7 Geek games. Tie-break will happen in the same way as in Stage 6.

All games will be:
Doubles
Sequential
Escalating
Chained
Foggy
If this tournament is successful I will run more "seasons"!
