The new name of the forum, "Turtle Soup", is deeply offensive to me, many turtles are threatened species and the practice of catching them for soup causes massive environmental damage and kills hundreds of dolphins every day. Their corpses are then simply discarded and not put to any use. I demand the name be changed. Show some respect for the turtles, dolphins and sea kittens.

Actually... I think poachers use their shells for bowls or containers for the soup itself. At least, that's what the Native Americans used to do.

Luckily we have got a Turtle running this website, albeit a Mutant one.

Dolphins don't have shells. hmm... I can't offhand think of a good way to make it clearer either.

Yes, I agree completely. I have half a mind to report this site to P.E.T.A. They'll teach Twill and Lack a lesson!

This makes 60 changes of name now?

I can't even remember what it was when I first joined, possibly chatter box.

What's been your favourite/least favourite?

My least favourite was Tower of babble.

I can help you with that... Instead of stating "turtles are threatened species" you could have simply said "dolphins are a threatened species." That way, it would be less confusing to me, who thought that when you typed "corposes" I thought you were referring, collectively, to both dolphins and turtles. Hence, turtle shell bowls...

Look at his join date though. He joined after me. Social Lounge II was what it was when I was here, and Off-Topic Topics was before me.

Actually I remember OTT. I think you might be mistaken or maybe they re-re-named it.
