This tournament has been rescued. New thread: viewtopic.php?f=91&t=172643&start=0
It's time to go back to school, CC style!
*Premium only with a good attendance rate please*
In this tournament each subject will be represented by a map - some subjects you have to do, others you get to choose.
For each subject the number of times you win the map will determine your grade, and your grade determines how many points you get. Gradually 100 players will get knocked down to 10, and the player with the most points at the end will be Top of the Class and the winner of the tournament!
There will be 8 rounds with increasing numbers of subjects. Within each round you will play 5 games for each subject, then another 4 games if you need to retake the class (please see below for more details).
Here's how the tournament will work:
Each round will have more subjects. If you pass a subject (Grade C or higher) you continue with it in the next round.
Each round has a minimum and a maximum number of subjects, so if you pass all of the previous round, you'll get to choose which maps you add in the next round.
If you have some gaps, you may have to take some unfavourable subjects to fill up your timetable!
Please Note: In each round you may only select up to 2 of the choices, except the final round where you may choose all 3 if you have room in your timetable.

All games will be:
Standard
Sequential
Escalating
Unlimited
Foggy (retakes will be sunny)
1 v 1 (except the CCU games - see bonuses below)

Here's how the grades work when you take a subject:
5/5 wins: A
4/5 wins: B
3/5 wins: C
2/5 wins: D
1/5 wins: E
0/5 wins: F
If you get lower than a C you will be asked to retake the subject. This is how your retakes are rewarded:
4/4 wins: Original grade goes up by 2 grades
3/4 wins: Original grade goes up by 1 grade
2/4 wins: Original grade goes up by 1 grade
1/4 wins: Original grade stays the same
0/4 wins: Original grade stays the same
