TRIPLES TOURNAMENT!!!![2nd Round]

hey, would anyone be interested in a Triples tourney? Classic Map, Freestyle, Escalating, Unlimited fortifications. reply if you want to play. I will set up the teams, unless you have a team ready, just let me know. however, if you don;t give me the names of your teammates, i will assume you don't care and i will put you on one. i will determine the number of teams based on how many people are interested and email you when it is ready.[/b]

I think thomasoft was not really serious about this, he has only 5 posts on this site and never checked in after starting the tourney to at least type the team list or specify the answers for those simple quesions you have to have when starting a tourney.
How many teams will there be playing?
Will it be a league or a cup?
What do you get if you win?

1st off I was waiting to see how many people would be interested. Considering it is a Triples Tourney, I wasn't sure if that many people would be interested. So in answer to your questions...
i want atleast 8 teams.
I will probably split it up into 2 groups of 4 teams. play round robin, where each team plays each team in their division. points will be awarded as so:
Win: 2 Points
Loss: 1 Point
After each team plays the other 3 teams in the division, the top two teams in each division will come together. the top team in each divisin will play the 2nd team in the other division. so:
division 1- top team vs. division 2-2nd place team
division 2- top team vs. division 1 2nd place team

The winner gets a congratulations, respect points, bragging rights, whatever you want to call it.

if i don't get 8 teams by saturday, we will play with the 6 i have already. we do have an extra person so i am sorry but he would be the odd man out if we play with 6. The teams so far are:

1- Sikkram, nascarfan38124, stlcard1521
2- MedalOfHonor, koe razorsedge, The Black Rose
3- thomasoft, vanmaanj, fighting Wiking
4- Eksploziv, Rogi & Dlakavi
5- dafranca, mmadureira, alextheodoro
6- Guardian Ewee5, MasterJesse
Lupo<-- odd man out

I apologize for not telling you it would be set up until now, but i was waiting to see how many teams we would get. I hope everyone is still interested, and will be ready to play by no later next week monday. keep a game open, and i will let you all know what games you are in and so forth.

thank you for the responses...we now have 9 teams. based on what we get by saturday (18th), i will either stick to the 9 teams(3 divisions of 3) cut one team and stay with the 8 i said in my previous post, or hope we get atleast one more team. tell me what you guys think. i am hoping we will still be ready to play by monday, be ready to play
