I saw George Thorogood and the Destroyers twice...both times in the 80's (I think...once might have been in the early 90's)...both outdoor concerts. In the early 80's they opened for The Rolling Stones in Buffalo, NY at some big outdoor venue (a stadium). A few of my friends went, but I declined. Apparently it rained hard but GT and the D just played right through it...George Thorogood was doing the duck walk and splashing around the puddles on stage and loving it (I was told)...missing that concert is one of my biggest Rock'n Roll regrets.
George Thorogood also played AA baseball or something like that...talented guy.

Yeah it's a JLH tune but in IMO, George's version is the hands-down winner.
Now by this time, I'm pretty high.
You know when your mouth is gettin' dry,....you pretty high.

Saw him on my b-day in '84. Great show.
Outdoors at old McArthur Stadium in Syracuse.
