Conquer Club

If I am playing in an assassin game, and I eliminate someone that is not my target...what happens?
Does the game end?
Do I get the eliminated person's spoils?

Sorry if this is a bad question but I don't know the answer and the rules don't address it.

You lose and the person whose target you took out wins! Don't do it!!!! Lol...

ha...i'm glad i asked. i was about to take out someone. instead i'll chase down my target...
