Name: College Basketball 2009
We will be having 96 teams join in this season/64 bracket tournament at the end of the season. We will have 9 divisions known as:
MWC- 9 teams
ACC- 12 teams
Big 12- 12 teams *
Big East- 10 teams **
Big Ten- 11 teams *
Missouri Valley- 10 teams
Pac 10- 10 teams *
SEC- 12 teams
Tournament Rules:
This is going to be a 1 vs. 1 tournament that will be quite similar to the regular NCAA basketball season. Which will consist of around 30 games, which then will be followed by a conference tournament and a 64 team bracket known as March Madness.
Premium and freemium players are welcome to join, just make sure that you have two games open at a time. As I'm hoping to get two games a week in.
Winners from your conference tournament will get the automatic spot in the 64 team bracket and if you win your conference at the end of the regular season you will be in the 64 team bracket, so then that could range around 8-18 teams who get the automatic bid into March Madness. After the 8-18 teams have been chosen i will then pick the remaining teams that will be included into the 64 team bracket based off of record and who you have played during the regular season.
All the games will be will a single map format until March Madness where you will play the best of 3 game series so that the best team wins and drops aren't the determining factor.
Its a first come first pick of the school that you would like so check to see if you get your team or not! We have 86 teams and i think we will get this number of players to join. I'm pretty excited for this its going to be HUGE. Also when picking teams to join in the March Madness i will take in some consideration will you as a player convincing me of why you should be in the 64 team bracket if you are close or on the bubble.
When choosing your team pick your preferred game style by your name and when you are the home team that's where you will be playing at. So you get to determine the way the game is played with spoils, reinforcements, and fog of war. Also expecting to have 7 reserves! And all games will be sequential.
