Seeing as the upper scoreboard is made up of players playing primarily freestyle games, there must be a player who plays primarily sequential. who is this king amongst kings?

Are we talking about total points gained from sequential play only?
If so...I have bad news for you Lt.pie....and velvecarrots isn't too hot either.

Nowhere near according to MR search.
In fact it looks like my friend General Mojo...I'm surprised no one has mentioned him up to now.

How about that !

I play 99 % single , esc, sequ. only...Just starting to learn dubs...But in my humble opinion, even though I may be ranked higher at this moment, I don't consider myself the top sequential player....

I only play sequential. They're almost all team games, though.

Oh, you're so modest.

I think they're is a group of top sequ players who take turns beating each other, they basically all have the same strategy, depends on cards , drop and the inevitable roll of the dice...

If you use map rank and who's gained the most points from seq games, then you clearly don't know how missleading map rank can be.

true, map rank cant be used to compare players with map rank and certainly not players who have different ranks.
but someone who has gained almost 3000 points by playing freestyle and less than 300 by playing seq is obviously not the top seq player

It can also show someone whos only played freestyle until he hits 4000 and then played seq and still managed to maintain 4000 points.

i just gave numbers and didn´t say anything else, so how can i be missleaded? Did i say anyone would be the better seq player here? Can´t remember that i gave you my opinion here^^

I didn't say you were missleading nor that you gave your opionion. I just mentioned the fact that Map Rank can be missleading.

RL Orange and Hatchman should be on the list of top seq players...

Fruitcake has made it quite clear on his stance against farmers ( in no way do I defend them either) but yet in the last months farm them [ cooks and low ranks] on his triples team. Hypocrisy at its best!

But these are numbers with no meaning...
Player 1: played all sequential starting at score 1000 until 2000, then played all freestyle until 4000 (+1000 seq)
Player 2: played all freestyle until 3500, then made it up to 4000 playing sequential (+500 seq)
Is Player 1 a better sequential player than player 2?
Map rank Sjnap, he'll probably be pretty high on that list. He is not a good example of someone who proves my point though, he can hold his own in seq (well, he could when he played them

).
EDIT: Didn't realize there was a page 2. My apologies Seul, and I completely agree with WM.

I'm wondering if the appropriate way to calculate this would be (Total of points gained from sequential games) minus (Total points lost from sequential games). Whether they are team or not should not matter with regard to the title. However, it still would be interesting to separate singles, doubles, trips and quads.

most of you discussed about ranks, numbers on scoreboard and points, not about quality, so i just gave you a list for detailed points for all the players who were mentioned, without rating these numbers.
I consider most mentioned people great players, but i don´t believe i am be able to say who is best.
Btw, why do so many people believe "seq" would mean: standard/terminator, escalating, chained, sunny? I´m sure pedro would name these settings if he meant them, but he didn´t do. So if you look for the master of this style, make your own thread or ask pedro to clarify.
