[player]Gnome[/player] already made a Belgium map, but it was [abandoned] and it became a Death Project. [player]Gnome[/player] told me and others in the past, if someone wants to take it over they can take it over.

So I wanna make a new fresh start and after a lot of brainstorming I will give it a go... but not as a regular country map Belgium, but the country Belgium as a strategy map with a goal, i.e. City Mogul & Feudal War. The working title will be:
[spoiler=Belgium - Battle of Languages]But before I will let you know more about the strategy, you have to know some language history about Belgium:

Communities
Following a usage which can be traced back to the Burgundian and Hasburgian courts,[36] in the 19th century it was necessary to speak French to belong to the governing upper class, and those who could only speak Dutch, Walloon or other regional dialects were effectively second-class citizens. Late that century, and continuing into the 20th century, the Flemish and Walloon movements evolved to counter this situation. While the Walloons and most Brusselers adopted French as their first language, the Flemings refused to do so and succeeded progressively in imposing Dutch as Flanders' official language. Following World War II, Belgian politics became increasingly dominated by the autonomy of its two main language communities.

Regions
So Belgium's two largest regions are the Dutch-speaking region of Flanders in the north, with 59% of the population, and the French-speaking southern region of Wallonia, inhabited by 31%. The Brussels-Capital Region, officially bilingual, is a mostly French-speaking enclave within the Flemish Region and near the Walloon Region, and has 10% of the population. A small German-speaking Community exists in eastern Wallonia.

And now my brainstorming ideas
As you could read about the language history Belgium is separate in two large Regions with their own language (Dutch and French). The separating doesn't stop with the languages, but it also influence big politics issues. I will not go further on that, but it starts me to thinking of a strategy map instead of a regular map.
So whats the strategy you'll be thinking

The idea is having 3 regions, 11 provinces and at least 40 countries
(on the map it will have Dutch and French names)
The Flemish region with 5 provinces
So let us know what U think about my idea for making not a regular map of Belgium, but a strategy map instead
