The Titans are 10-0!!!

Woot! Their only the 5th team in the past 10 years (I think) to go 10-0! Who would've expected this to happen? They can win on any basis with no passing game working, no running game working, or just so-so for both. Not a "OMG THEIR SO GOOD" team, but they have talent and have crept up their. They have a (3-4) game lead in the AFC I think.
JEFF FISHER FTW!!!

They just might be the first team to clinch a playoff spot too.

Yeah, but they got some really bad calls in their last game.

They're a good team and their defense is a big part of it
. . . and Jeff Fisher took them to Super Bowl Thirtyfour at the Georgia Dome . . .

yea first half troubles :-| but what's good is that they don't have any outright record breakers like the pats last year. Thats why its so surprising. They can pass when the need to, run when they need to, and play really good defense when they need to, even if it takes the last few drives to win.

Oh please. They've had an easy schedule.

Which will be proven when they choke in the post season.

Quite possible. If nothing else they aren't used to that kind of spot light. GO LIONS!

Isn't it this week that the Lions officially can't make the playoffs? It was either this one or the last one.

No, that was back during training camp

J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!

It only looks easy because all the good teams this year are doing bad. Jaguars have been a good team, just don't have the record to prove it. Look at the Colts. They're just having a bad year. They play then 2x, the Jags 2x, the Packers 2x, etc. It only looks easy because of this lopsided season with atlanta, miami, and the Jets doing good.

The Packers only once, and some pretty bad teams have rolled over the Colts. I haven't really been watching the Jags, but I imagine that they're underperforming as well. As pimpdave said, I'll wait to see the playoffs. I mean, I don't want to underplay 10-0, and you can only play the teams given to you, but you have to be realistic.

Don't the Falcons have a winning record right now? I mean, I don't follow the pros nearly as well as college but from I remember it looked like the Falcons would need a bit of a collapse to finish with a losing season.

As a Lions fan, I'm torn. I half want them to win a game, to avoid the 0-16 humiliation, but on the other hand, I think being that team would be pretty cool. Still, I think that they will probably take one of the games at home, either this week vs. Tampa or the week after Thanksgiving vs. Minnesota. This team has been pretty close for the last few weeks now, and Culpepper should do better now that he's been practicing for a few weeks.

Looking at that avatar, my deepest condolences and sympathy sammy... as this is a tough year for football in the state of Michigan, with the Wolverines and Lions simultaneously bottoming out. I'd like to think both will rebound in the near future.

I really thought Detroit was already turning it around last year with some quality games... and wins. Now with the trade of Roy Williams to Dallas I thought they were nuts, but I see the bright side of moving up in the draft to improve thier roster... and I'm glad to have another gifted wide receiver opposite TO in the Cowboys' lineup.

The University of Michigan is the real shocker though... after abusing an SEC team in a BCS Bowl game last year (giving Lloyd Carr a respectible send off after many great years as head coach) I really expected a lot from them this season. Their new coach and system will sink in soon enough, they'll be a formidable team again of course and after this season... there's nowhere to go but up again. The sting of this years' rivalry match with the Buckeyes (and that home loss to MSU) should provide plenty of inspiration to expedite getting their act together even quicker.

On the other hand, I'm sure West Virginia is plenty happy to see them flailing.

mmmmm....thanks for your sympathy. It's been a tough year, no doubt. Before the Minnesota game a few weeks ago, my friend and I were talking, and we determined that it had been more than a month since our weekend was brightened by a football victory. This after the Detroit Tigers were a huge disappointment this summer.

Luckily, the Red Wings are dominating as usual, and the Pistons are looking pretty good, especially with the trade for A.I. making things exciting.
