Neither are dogs yet in some states it is a felony to kick one across the room for costing you thousands of dollars when it pisses on your floor

Maybe it's because I've never looked at the stars closely but last night I saw some strange lights up in the sky. This star or whatever was flashing and when I looked through the binoculars I seen all kinds of lights generating from this so called star. These lights were made up of a bunch of different colors(green, yellow, blue, red, orange). Is this a normal occurance?

That was probably a traffic light. Perfectly harmless.

No. It was definitely up in the sky. Unless it was a traffic light shining from the other side of the world.

Yes, it is. Simply put, our atmosphere acts like a prism to the light from stars.
