Well, if Kurupt gave a f*ck about a bitch I'd always be broke
I'd never have no motherfuckin indo to smoke
I gets loced and looney, bitch you can't Do Me
Do we like BBD, you hoochie groupie?
I have no love for hoes
That's somethin I learned in the pound
so how the f*ck am I supposed
to pay this hoe, just to lay this hoe
I know the pussy's mines, I'ma f*ck a couple more times
And then I'm through with it, there's nothing else to do with it
Pass it to the homie, now you hit it
Cause she ain't nuthin but a bitch to me
And y'all know, that bitches ain't shit to me
i gives a f*ck, why don't y'all pay attention
Approach it with a different proposition, I'm Kurupt
Hoe you'll never be my only one, trick ass beeeitch!

Not inherently so, but very often yes.

Well apparently you think so, Mandyb. You provided no examples of any rap that wasn't misogynistic.
You can find examples like that from all styles of poetry, not just rap.

Damn womanhaters!
Chorus: Guru
They say it's lonely at the top, in whatever you do
You always gotta watch motherfuckers around you
Nobody's invincible, no plan is foolproof
We all must meet our moment of truth
Verse One: Guru
The same sheisty cats that you hang with, and do your thang with
could set you up and wet you up, nigga peep the language
It's universal, you play with fire it may hurt you
or burn you, lessons are blessings you should learn through
Let's face facts, although MC's lace tracks
it doesn't mean behind the scenes there ain't no dirt to trace back
That goes for all of us, there ain't nobody to trust
It's like sabotage, it's got me ready to bust
But I can't jeapordize, what I have done up to this point
So I'ma get more guys, to help me run the whole joint
Cultivate, multiply, motivate, or else we'll die
You know I be the masterof the who what where and why
See when you're shinin, some chumps'll wanna dull ya
Always selfish jealous punks, will wanna pull ya
down, just like some shellfish in a bucket
cause they love it, to see your ass squirm like a worm
But just as you'll receive what is comin to you
Everybody else is gonna get theirs too
I ain't no saint, therefore I cannot dispute
That everyone must meet their moment of truth
Chorus: Guru
Actions have reactions, don't be quick to judge
You may not know the harships people don't speak of
It's best to step back, and observe with couth
For we all must meet our moment of truth
Verse Two: Guru
Sometimes you gotta dig deep, when problems come near
Don't fear things get severe for everybody everywhere
Why do bad things happen, to good people?
Seems that life is just a constant war between good and evil
The situation that I'm facin, is mad amazin
to think such problems can arise from minor confrontations
Now I'm contemplatin in my bedroom pacin
Dark clouds over my head, my heart's racin
Suicide? Nah, I'm not a foolish guy
Don't even feel like drinking, or even gettin high
Cause all that's gonna do really, is accelerate
the anxieties that I wish I could alleviate
But wait, I've been through a whole lot of other shit, before
So I oughta be able, to withstand some more
But I'm sweatin though, my eyes are turnin red and yo
I'm ready to lose my mind but instead I use my mind
I put down the knife, and take the bullets out my nine
My only crime, was that I'm too damn kind
And now some skanless motherfuckers wanna take what's mine
But they can't take the respect, that I've earned in my lifetime
And you know they'll never stop the furious force of my rhymes
So like they say, every dog has its day
And like they say, God works in a mysterious way
So I pray, remembering the days of my youth
As I prepare to meet my moment of truth
("You should know the truth
And the truth shall set you free" --> from _Who's Gonna Take the Weight?_)
Verse Three: Guru
Yo I got one lyric pointed at your head for start
Another one, is pointed at your weak ass heart
Now if I pull the trigger, on these fully loaded lines
You're gonna wish I woulda pulled a black nine, I mack dimes
Crack the spines of the fake gangsters
Yeah the bitin triflin niggaz, and the studio pranksters
Yo lookin at the situation plainly: will you remain G?
Or will you be looked upon strangely?
I reign as the articulator, with the greater data
Revolvin on the TASCAM much doper than my last jam
While others struggle to juggle, tricky metaphots
I explore more, to expose the core
A lot of MC's, act stupid to me
And we have yet to see, if they can match our longevity
But anyway it's just another day
Another fake jack I slay with my spectac' rap display
Styles, smooth but rugged -- you can't push or shove it
You dig it and you dug it cause like money you love it
The king of monotone, with my own throne
Righteously violent prone my words bring winds like cyclones
Stormin your hideout, blockin out your sunlight
Your image and your business, were truly not done right
Throw up your he-Allah-I now, divine saviors
You got no hand skills there's no security to save ya
No pager, no celly, no drop top Benz-y
I came to bring your phone hip-hop, to an ending
My art of war will leave you sore from the abuse
Cause you must meet your moment of truth
Chorus: Guru
They say it's lonely at the top, in whatever you do
You always gotta watch motherfuckers around you
None's untouchable, no man is bulletproof
We all must meet our moment of truth
Damn womanhaters!

Talib Kweli & DJ Hi-Tek: Love Language
[Talib Kweli]
Yo, we're going to have the word love
in many different languages translated all through the track
So, whenever you hear the word love
Know that, it's going to be in a different language
The language of love cannot be translated, yo
Love is blind, you just see bright light
You up in the club feelin' the night life, lookin' for the right type
Blood rushing to your heart making it beat
When she swept you off your feet and made it complete
You know the plan you had to conquer the world
Thinking you Scarface, looking for that perfect girl
And now you found her
Started with romantic, then got to frantic
Then things thats normally small become gigantic
Now y'all sinkin like the Titanic here come the panic
Bein with you like a habit without you I can't stand it
It's tragic when you wonder when you lost that magic
Without understanding that you never had it try to grab it
In the bed gettin a nut off, communication cut off
Getting mad cause you turned on wondering where she shut off
Constantly comparing you to someone in my past
We don't smile anymore, and we argue over cash
Advance to that physical shit
See what happens if you keep talkin
See what happens if you lay a finger on me motherf...
Yo, see what I'm sayin'
It's like one big mind game that everybody playin and
Niggas say bitches is trife, bitches say niggas is
We just don't understand our fundamental differences
I'm still learning though, actually
I just do what come naturally, naturally, naturally
(Chorus):
L'amour n'a pas de, frontiere (Love has no boundaries)
Restes car je t'aime comme tu es (Stay because I love you as you are)
J'ai traverse l'ocean du verbe (I crossed an ocean of words)
Et je t'ai trouve (And I found you)
[Talib Kweli]
Women thrive on emotions, men refuse to acknowledge
So when we arguin nobody win
Words get in the way time and again
Sticks and stones break your bones words break your heart
Whether you in touch with that part or not say "word"
Words are weapons for the revolutionary
Used for evil make the situation very scary
Word up, but love is brave
It flies in the face of fear
Yo, wherever you want to go love'll take you there
Let's go, you know a flower that grow in the ghetto
Know more about survival than the one from fresh meadows
It got love for the sun, that's where I'm comin from
Spit in this fashion cause I love rockin over drums
Word (te quiero) I put my love into my music
If you with me then you love how I do it
If my heart you're livin' in your ocean I'm swimmin' in
Never drowning got me floatin' watching you in slow motion
Love potion overdosin approachin
The explosion of my senses everyday without your heart
is like a sentence in jail
Trust I'll always be mentally free
You got the key to let it out I'll show you how it could be
Love {*different language*} it ain't nuttin but a word
A chicken ain't nuttin but a bird
Yo, yo, yo
Some of y'all in love with that material but
love enter my life like a miracle and
It reciprocal that's why I'm feeling you love
We exibit our natural behavior
Like making love under the moon in Jamaica
Get you so hot you call the name of the creata
The morning we hop back into action again
Up on the wall lovin how the sun blacken your skin
Remember when we explored the beach
Swam in the ocean and saw beneith
How the colors of the coral reef looked like the illest floral peice
That's what your beauty remind me of
It's hard to find a love like ours, taking it high above
Them other duns try to spit game but, I dont sweat it though
Know in my heart that we connected so I let it go
Now if they call you out your name and that's a different thing
Anything but Queen I'll go to war like a King
Your friends sweat you cause you aint got a band
But they dont understand
Some things is meant to stay between a woman and man
And they ain't privy to it so they try to get into it
Both you and me see through it so the way we flow is fluid
We speak the love language, they speak from pain and anguish
Some don't love theyselves so they perception is tainted
Out they joint like "Shit, he payin for your rent" missin the point
When you rub me into your skin just like an ointment
It's more than pillow talk, it can't be translated
Learn how to speak it, and become emancipated
It's a language
Universal love...
(Chorus):
L'amour n'a pas de, frontiere (Love has no boundaries)
Restes car je t'aime comme tu es (Stay because I love you as you are)
J'ai traverse l'ocean du verbe (I crossed an ocean of words)
Et je t'ai trouve (And I found you)
Love love love love, love, love (Repeated)

[Damian Marley]
Could you be so kind
Then show me a sign

Decent values with a decent wine
Decent jubee running it down the line
Maybe it's my mind
Maybe I'm blind
Maybe it's the way that I've been spending my time
I'm still searching for a fine peace of mind
Decent jubee running it down the line
[Yami Bolo]
A little child has grown
And he'g got love on his mind
But what he'll never know
A virtuous woman is hard to find
[Stephen Marley]
And dat's when she said
She feels the pain
And she'll never fall
In love again
[Damian Marley]
So if you is a gal with whole heep of value
What a valuable nice and decent gal you
When I get you I'll be glad I got you
Then stand firmly inna your life like statue
Seen some old tings seen some young tings

Re: Is Rap misogynistic?
This song won a Grammy
The Roots with Erykah Badu: You Got Me
The Roots with Erykah Badu: You Got Me
Chorus: Erykah Badu (repeat 2X)
If you were worried 'bout where
I been or who I saw or
What club I went to with my homies
Baby don't worry you know that you got me
(Black Thought)
Somebody told me that this planet was small
We use to live in the same building on the same floor
And never met before
Until I'm overseas on tour
And peep this ethiopian queen from philly
Taking classes abroad
She studying film and photo flash focus record
Said she workin on a flick and
Could my clique do the score
She said she loved my show in paris
At Elysee Montmartre
And that I stepped off the stage
And took a piece of her heart
We knew from the start that
Things fall apart, intentions shatter
She like that shit don't matter
When I get home get at her
Through letter, phone, whatever
Let's link, let's get together
Shit you think not, think the Thought went home and forgot
Time passed, we back in philly now she up in my spa
Tellin me the things I'm tellin her is makin her hot
Startin buildin with her constantly round the clock
Now she in my world like hip-hop
And keep tellin me
Chorus
[Black Thought]
Yo, I'm the type that's always catchin a flight
And sometimes I gotta be out at the height of the night
And that's when she flip and get on some 'ol
[Eve]
Another lonely night
Seems like I'm on the side you only loving your mic
I know you gotta get that paper daddy keep that shit tight
But yo I need some sort of love in my life, you dig me
While politicin with my sister from new york city
She said she know this ball player and he think I'm pretty
Psych, I'm playin boo, you know it's just wit you I'm stayin boo
And when cats be poppin game I don't hear what they sayin boo
When you out there in the world, I'm still your girl
With all my classes I don't have the time for life's thrills
So when you sweatin on stage think of me when you rhyme
And don't be listenin to your homies they be leavin you blind
[Black] Yeah, so what you sayin I can trust you?
[Eve]Is you crazy, you my king for real
[Both]But sometimes relationships get ill
[Eve]No doubt
Chorus
[Black Thought]
Thet snake could be that chick
And that rat could be that cool cat
That's whispering "she tryin to play you for the fool Black"
If something's on your chest then let it be known
See I'm not your every five minutes all on the phone
And on the topic of trust, it's just a matter of fact
That people bite back and fracture what's intact
And they'll forever be I ain't on some "oh I'm a celebrity"
I deal with the real so if it's artificial let it be
I've seen people caught in love like whirlwinds
Listening to they squads and listening to girlfriends
That's exactly the point where they whole world ends
Lies come in, that's where that drama begins, she like
Chorus: repeat until fade

Yes, I do.
I find the whole culture rather disturbing to be honest. Not just the portrayal of women, but the way they glorify violence and crime.
I'm sure there are examples of poetry just as demeaning but when set to music that poetry becomes something more volatile altogether, I'd even say dangerous.
And, unfortunatley, they're pretty good at getting their message across.

Dr. Octagon: Earth People
[Verse 1]
First patient pull out the skull remove the cancer
Breakin' his back chisel necks for the answer
Supersonic bionic robot voodoo power
Equator ex my chance to flex skills on Ampex
With power meters and heaters gauge anti freeze
Octagon oxygen aluminum intoxicants
More ways to blow blood cells in your face
React with four bombs and six fire missiles
Armed with seven rounds of space doo-doo pistols
You may not believe, livin' on the Earth planet
My skin is green and silver, warhead lookin' mean
Astronauts get played, tough like the ukelele
As I move in rockets, overriding, levels
Nothing's aware, same data, same system
[Chorus]
Controlled by gamma light.
Earth People, New York and California
Earth People, I was born on Jupiter (x4)
[Verse 2]
Now my helmet's on, you can't tell me I'm not in space
With the National Guard United States Enterprise
Diplomat of swing with aliens at my feet
Comin' down the rampart through beam on the street
Obsolete computes, compounds and dead sounds
As I locate intricately independent
Economic rhymer got savoury store food
In Capsule D my program is ability
For a reaction and response to a no-one
Identification Code: Unidentified
I got cosmophonic, pressed a button, changed my face
You recognised, so what? I turned invisible
Made myself clear, reappeared to you visual
Disappear again, zapped like a android
Face the fact, I fly on planets every day
My nucleus friend, prepare, I return again
My 7XL is not yet invented
[repeat chorus]
[Verse 3]
Space Ranger, contact tubes, send synthetics
I program one and go to Earth through the fax machine
My number's Seven-Oh-Nine Seven-Five-Five Six-E-L-Three
Computer File: Nine-Three
Digital level, standing on the terminal
Upside down through polygons fightin' pentagons
Changin' blue skin, my brown colour's comin' back
I'm psychedelic this time, come in rainbow
Look at the green lights and y'all see my brain glow
Five colours: yellow, black and red and green...purple
[Repeat chorus ]

Re: Is Rap misogynistic?
mandyb wrote:pimpdave wrote:Well apparently you think so, Mandyb. You provided no examples of any rap that wasn't misogynistic.
You can find examples like that from all styles of poetry, not just rap.
Yes, I do.
I find the whole culture rather disturbing to be honest. Not just the portrayal of women, but the way they glorify violence and crime.
For our next edition of People Who Know Nothing About Rap Make Judgements:
Mandy, please share your thoughts.
Uhuh, uhuh, hmmm, yeah sounds interresting.
I'm sure there are examples of poetry just as demeaning but when set to music that poetry becomes something more volatile altogether, I'd even say dangerous.
Dangerous?
Wow....
Ofcourse, misogyny has a part in rap-music. And yes, there is a lot of it in rap. But when you look at artists like Nas, Gang Starr, Damian Marley (jamaican okay, but still), Common, The Roots, The Pharcyde, Souls of Misschief and plenty of other well-known people you'll see it can be done without it quite often and succesfully.
In fact, most of the seemingly misogynistic artists quite often speak against that image too. 50 Cent can even talk about love (though it happens to fall in line with not snitching on him for his drugs-bussines). What you were referencing was a song from 93 I believe, an era that well...wasn't known for being friendly on women anyway, and when you correlate that with the way those artists actually experienced women (yay for ghettos), you'll see that most of it was pretty harmless. Snoop Dogg is now happily married with kids, he even renewed his vows recently with his wife. Dr Dre is also married, with two kids.
They were young men talking about how they felt about women in general, and if you think what they said is bad just go to your local college.
And, honestly, if we're going to bitch on rap-music for that we might as well do away with the whole rockgenre as plenty of their songs, at least when they were released, were pretty harsh on women too. Not to mention the whole treating-groupies-like-shit thing.
"Some motherfuckers are always trying to ice skate uphill."

I admit, I love this song. One line in it will make you think of Conquer Club. Listen to the song as you read along. This is just straight up poetic license and imagery. Nothing misogynistic about this, unless you don't really pay attention.

I do believe in monsters, I call them officers
I know enough to know to keep an eye on how I talk to ya's
Some of y'all at peace, but even one to many
Still at peace and slumber for the reading of the beast,
There's no release, she keeps, and teaches no remorse
More resembling of a thief than a horse
Plans, long range, attached to some thangs
And an arm that's strong, watch the song when it change
Nothing's strange, cause you know before you saw it
It's all the same, there ain't no such thing as flawless
All I want is a little more security, a little more safety, a lot less uncertainty
Override the circuitry, the sun as she dies, recognize the urgency, uncover your eyes
When i turn on the lights, she vanishes high, and so that i can feel her essence in the air
Acknowledge the night stalker, and regard there is a hunter, hunting your mom she takes from the slumber
Summer ain't as hot as you think, more than the child, that wears the target for your teeth to sink
This world is a vampire, she eats her kids, let's hide the bodies under the bridge
This world is a vampire, she eats her kids, let's hide the bodies under the bridge
This country's a vampire, she eats her kids, let's hide the bodies under the bridge
This city's a vampire, she eats her kids, let's hide the bodies under the bridge
She lurks in the alleys, with a wrong reality
Allegiance, and honor, keep it all in the family
Consumes the young, the blind, deaf, and the dumb
Drains the vein, and puts them under the thumb
She's on the television, celebrate the status quo
Energy to push mute on the remote control
Break the beat, shatter the measures into pieces
All i've left is the breath, and the world i've put to pieces
It's difficult, to figure out who to fear, gettin older by the minute, younger by the year
Will the hunger disappear, metabolism slow, world domination is the goal
Now let's gather the kids, and take em out to the styx, teach em all how to live
Come, take my hand and walk with me, before the vampires lock down the twin cities
This world is a vampire, she eats her kids, let's hide the bodies under the bridge
This world is a vampire, she eats her kids, let's hide the bodies under the bridge
This country's is a vampire, she eats her kids, let's hide the bodies under the bridge
This city's is a vampire, she eats her kids, let's hide the bodies under the bridge
Through the mud of the evening, she trudges
The name, the blood is tainted with traces of lovers
From up above, truth watches in bewilderment
Comtemplating, how he isn't really feelin it
Just another chapter of another movie picture
Another rapertoire, lookin for a new elixir
Well here she goes, even when she has to climb
Out the window, out of sight, out of mind
Look out for me below, because i've never been on top of nothin
Other than a stove, inside a pot of water bubblin and boilin
Between the puzzle and poison, two games in the same toybin
But when my time comes, you better beat the drums
And aim the guns at the ones that eat the young
If we let her, she'll do whatever takes to survive
You don't stop till you take her life

Canibus: Behind Enemy Rhymes
You have to understand the minstrel aspect to hip hop culture. In this example, I give you some mildly violent imagery that is only part of the expected posturing of a live act. It's all meant in fun.

When the Curriculum storms //
Modern rap history is reborn on CD code in the form of a poem //
Anyone who studies Canibus’ past //
Knows he has the answers to questions you’re probably not advanced enough to ask //
Super advanced faculty math //
Chairman of curriculum class, eighty-five percentile never pass //
Ten-percentile smile and five don’t even laugh //
When the chalk is in my hand and I’m drawing up graphs //
I present the contingency plans to the top brass //
They probably think I’m on speed I’m talking so fast //
The body of the rhyme is smooth like Body & Bath //
The summary is more explosive than a meth-lab blast //
My symmetrical shock waves shatter glass //
As my U2-35 rhyme hits critical mass //
Apocalypse now, lyrical wrath blows everything off the map //
From green grass to African baobabs //
Spike with electromag ‘til aircrafts crash //
CDC in the streets passing out gas masks //
Gorgeous women thank me for the oxygen tank //
Baby, the chevrons on my arm will tell you my rank //
Maybe I’ll become another casualty in the field //
They’ll engrave my tombstone with Damascus steel //
The best beats in the world couldn’t rival my skill //
It’s like pouring a cup of water on a million beached whales //
Grand eloquence of an unprecedented scale //
Close your eyes and feel the rhyme because I’m better in Braille //
The Francis Bacon basics, I should reiterate this //
“We rise to great heights by winding staircases” //
Lines spiral in a French-curved design //
When the Curriculum storms Behind Enemy Rhymes //
When the Curriculum storms, this is lyrical law //
Computer programmed bars come out of digital jaws //
This is the toughest course in hip-hop so far //

Behind Enemy Rhymes when the Curriculum storms //
Written addendum, curriculum attention deficit disorder, magician flipping them //
With serotonin re-uptake inhibitors that inhibit them from seeing the vision when //
They spit against ‘Bis and them they must want to get dissed again //
I’m sicker than your sixth sense //
Inhale breaths through louvers in my chest bigger than wind tunnel vents //
Please believe the ammo is live //
A fusillade of rhymes flies through your ride and gulf stream fuselage //
Blistering speeds fool eyes with fast rhymes //
Setting world records for Nurburgring’s fastest lap times //
Get checkered flags for forty-eight tracks of rhymes //
One hundred times with vocal signature too complex to sign //
Human by design, a mental monster of the mind //
Rhetoric versus reality the reason I rhyme //
Internally inclined to shine //
Principles of plenitude I spit at you injure you if you step out of line //
A transcendental intellectual //
A marvel to the medical professionals that claim they have more tests to do //
Before they understand what I’m equipped to do //
Visual psycho-analytical proof that I’ll rip you //
I’ll rip the roof off like cyclones do //
When the Curriculum storms I’ll rip a microphone too //
A molecular miracle in the physical //
My lyrical was always something for you to listen to //
Difficult but legible //
Forever memorable enough to remain in the membrane of you’re mental pool //
I’ll train your brain muscles and take you to school //
Hard rocks become gentle jewels //
These are the rules //
When you’re in a Mic-Club mood you never get booed //
Aptitude and attitude are your battling tools //
Stay calm, and spit those bars //
If you find yourself Behind Enemy Rhymes you’ve got to weather the storm //

Let's be friends
Del Tha Funkee Homosapien: At the Helm
Here we go
[Chorus:]
Life is a blast when you know what you're doin
Best to know what you're doin 'fore your life get ruined
Life is a thrill when your skill is developed
If you ain't got a skill or trade, then shut the hell up
[Verse One:]
My rhymes is like droppin your head on cement
Crackin it open hopin to make a dent; I'm hell-bent on
resurrection, per-fection
Lesson #1: rekindle the essence
Rap ain't about bustin caps and fuckin bitches
It's about fluency with rhymin ingenuity
All of this is new to me, see I peep rhymes
with scrutiny, under a microscope I walk a tightrope
A thin line between insanity and sanity
mixed with a little vanity, boostin the morality
with Hiero hospitality, soon to strike it rich
like calories, salaries, ahh sounds like a plan
And, I will expand hip-hop as well
Might even kick a little impromptu, to stomp you
weaklings, speaking things foreign to the human ear
that, you will fear now, whether you like it or not
Blood clots on your little life on the situation
and on the stipulations... the shit you wastin
time on you pawns, it was planned like that
But we can fight back, like David Horowitz
and say we want no more of this
and put it in a cyrogenic status
Replace it with the latest in technology
Hip-Hop policies that demolish ya follies
Olly olly oxen free, get off of me
You can't see this, your defeatist attitude'll
get you nowhere fast, I tend to my task cause
[Chorus: x2]
[Verse Two:]
Don't even start on the next man, let's scan
your situation, you still have no patience
Flip on niggaz, rob niggaz, even family
All the way up to your moms -- you can't stand to be
in the house, but when you kicked out you beggin
to come back in then the same old skit happens
You say you rappin but you don't know the essence
Just hoe slap and bustin caps is your message
Plus every time I put some scrill down, you steal it
If that's your way of teachin me a lesson I don't feel it
Your raps reflect your life and that's a shame
cause the way you're soundin, you must think that it's a game
I can see if you came from the ghetto, but you came
from the Meadow -- you really need to let that go
You got no respect for hip-hop, and you tryin to rhyme
Biding your time and I find it a crime
I even tried to bury the hatchet man
Cause we all African, you wanna be a rapper
start practicin, you can't even flow right
Spend most of your time fuckin hoes, getting in fights
Hangin out, with no mission in life
And you're missing your life, and you'll be missing out on life
I won't sweat you for that G you stole
cause if you're still alive, I'll be there to see you fold
Told ya!
[Chorus: x2]
[Verse Three:]
You could be a rapper an actor a gun clapper
A comedian providing laughter as a bachelor
A pastor of a chapter, a doctor, a lawyer
A fireman, a hired hand, whether boy or girl
it's your world your future you control it
Whatever you do, early on, is how you mold it
I record it, sold it, told it to you
Mr. Del wouldn't tell you nothin that ain't true, because
[Chorus]
Think you're able to label the Hiero sound?
You still haven't found a comparable variable
You think you're able to label the Hiero sound?
You still haven't found a comparable variable
All you marks... YEAH!

Dial the seven digits
Call up bridget
Her mans a midget
Plus she got friends, yo, I can dig it
Heres a fourty, swig it
Ya know its frigid
I got em chillin in the cooler
Break out the ruler
Damn
Thats the fattest stoke Ive ever seen
But what does ? keen and cali? gettin weeded
Makes her feel like maui
Now we
Feel the good vibrations
So many females, so much inspiration
I get inspired by the blunts, too
Ill front you
If you hang with a punk crew
I roam the strip for bones to pick
When I find one, Im done
Take her home and quickly do this
I need not explain this
A-plus is famous
So get the anus
Hey, miss
Whos there?
Im through there
No time to do hair
The flicks at eight
So get it straight
You look great
Lets grub now
A rub down sounds flavor,
Later. theres a theatre
We in the cut
The cinema
Was mediocre
Take her to the crib so I can stroke her
Kids get broke for their skins when Im in
Close range. i throws game at your dip like handball
Cause the mans all that
All phat
I be the chill from 93 til
Yeah, this is how we chill from 93 til
This is how we chill from 93 til...
Huh, my black timbs do me well
When I see a fool and he says he heard me tell
Another persons business
I cause diziness
Until you..stop acting like a silly bitch
Yo, crews are jealous cause we get props
The cops
Wanna stop
Our fun, but the top
Is where were dwelling, swelling, phat
No sleep
I work fifteen jerks get their hoes sweeped
Under their noses
This bros quick
To hit blunts and flip once Im chillin cause my crews close, kid
I boasted
Most kids accept this as cool
I exit
Cause Im an exception to the rule
Im steppin
To the cool spots where crews flock to stare at them
Or see where the shit thats flam b
Bland leaking out his pocket
So, I got tons of endo
And go to the ho ins
Basement
My ace spinned
Phat and enough tracks
Time to get prolific with the whiz kid
Greenbacks and stacks
Dont even ask
Who got the fat sacks
We can max
Pumpin phat tracks
Exachangin facts about impacts
Cause in facts, my freestyle talent overpowers
Brothers cant hack it
They lack wit
We got the mack shit
93 to infinity
Kill all that wack shit
Ah, this is how we chill from 93 til
This is how we chill from 93 til...
I be coolin
Schools in session
But Im fresh and
Rappin
So I take time off to never rhyme soft
Im off on my own shit
With my own click
For many bad bros with their fat stoke gettin blunted
Folding blunts
Holding stunts captive
With my persona
Plus, I bomba
Testin
Niguhs is testin
My patience
But I stay fresh and
Restin at the mall
Attendance on low
But I am shopping for my winter
Exploits: some new fits
Some new kicks
I often do this
Cause its the pits not being dipped
Flip - the flier attire
Females desire
Baby, you can step to this if you admire
The ex - traordinary dapper rapper
Keep tabs on your main squeeze before I tap her
Ill mack her
Attack her with the smoothness
I do this
Even when my crew gets
Loot, props, respect and blunts to pass
Crews talk shit, but in my face they kiss my ass
They bite flows but we make up new ones
If youre really dope, why aint ya signed yet?
But I get
My loot from jive/zomba
Ima bomb ya
You will see
From now to infinity
Ah, this is how we chill from 93 til
This is how we chill from 93 til...

Re: Is Rap misogynistic?
It's pretty inept to class all rap as misogynistic just because of a few bad apples.
Sure some rap and some rap artists can be described as misogynistic and distasteful towards women but then again are hundreds of great rap artists who don't stoop that level.

Plan B can just go f*ck himself with his depressing shit. It's too good, messing with my feelings and that.
Look out my front door, what do i see,
Another likkle yoot on the street shottin weed,
It wont be too long before that yoot is shottin smack,
Sellin heroin to his bredrins and dat,
Makin fast cash, thinkin hes goin places,
And he will be straight after the court cases,
He thought the streets would bring him glamour and fame,
But now hes locked up and noone remebers his name,
(Cos you know) Its alright just how easily people are forgotten,
One minute your heading for the top,
You dont ever look like stoppin,
Then suddenly you find yourself right back at the bottom,
Thas life though, and so's gettin cut with a knife so,
Watch your step if you dont wanna get blood on your nikes bro,
'Cos these streets will have you up when you least expect it,
You say you dont fear death but you know you respect it
[Chorus]
Time is missing links,
Chucking you right back in,
Feels like somethings missing, yeaa
Time is missing links,
Chucking you right back in,
Feels like somethings missing, yeaa
I've seen my best friends cry,
I've seen my best friends die,
I've had my best friends lie about how there doin fine,
I've had so many best friends in my time,
And most of them i've lost to smokin white lines,
I aint no stranger to drugs i've had my fair share,
Had my head up in the clouds like a fucking care bare,
Chattin all dat raah care, yea im jus experimentin,
MDMA LSD amphetimins, all da rest of dat shit dat goes wid it,
Why is it everyone who does drugs finks they know everyting dere is to know about life already,
Jus by sittin on their setee doing drugs infront of the telly,
Finkin there heavy, 'cos dey live their lives like dat,
High on crack what sort of fucking life is dat?
Whatever happend to your dreams and aspirations blud,
Now the highlight of your day is masturbation blud,
[Chorus]
Time is missing links,
Chucking you right back in,
Feels like somethings missing, yeaa
Time is missing links,
Chucking you right back in,
Feels like somethings missing, yeaa
You only end up in the gutter, if you live your life on the curb,
Or if you choose to take it one step further then the herb,
The shit is gettin worse, its always been like this,
Lifes a game of give an take an people take the right piss,
I've seen a most self-righteous a man fall off the wagon, and start chasing the dragon,
It's funny how now there the ones with the problem,
Look how much their big fuckin mouths have gone and cost them,
Used to be the type that looked down on man,
Now their inhaling toxins through a biro and,
Its ironic dont you think that 5 years back the same cats are now on crack,
They didnt even used to drink now there the missing links,
In the world of wasted talent, could of been great now there just making up the balance,
Musicans, artists, writers, authours, Gymnasts athletes footballers,
Bare peeps i used to know that could of turned pro now the only game they play is the one on road,
Wether it be drug pushin shopliftin or prostitution,
Some sort of instution seems like the only solution,
Stop the manour lookin like some kinda mardi gradis,
This guy cause on the corner askin if you wanna party,
Its narsty, drivin through the ends its like a safari,
Dont get out of your car unless you got crackhead kamakazi (kamakazi)

Repeat x2
