Seattle?

Post by sethcampfall »

Now, I'm no programmer, so I couldn't do this myself, but I think a Seattle Map would be really good. The "continents" could be:

U District
Seattle Center
Fremont
Wallingford
Laurelhurst
Montlake
Beacon Hill
International District
Pioneer Square
West Seattle

Ignore the "points of interest". I got this off a tourist website.

and the Eastside should be involved to utilise the floating bridges. but not so much as to turn it into another puget sound map

Puget Sound isn't good enough? Ya'll want to zoom in on Seattle and have a map of it?

We already have a map of Puget Sound, this would be overkill.

F*ck yeah! And every 3rd round, a bridge should collapse!

And whatever happened to that SeaTac map in the works?

Maybe random rainstorms can come through and take an army away here or there... im only half joking... it would be an interesting element to a map, if not this one

The Europa map includes a region called Benelux. The BeNeLux map includes a region called Luxembourg. And of course, there is a Luxembourg map.The precedent is there.

I'd like to see a Seattle map; though it might have to be turned on its side.

Here is a neighborhood map. Regions can be created using the maps cited above? Maybe add the light rail (proposed stops)?

It looks a little too big for its own good.

I don't disagree with you there. The Seattle Neighborhood Map is a little too detailed. If one were to go down this route, merging of neighborhoods would take place.

As kind of a reference, I was thinking that I-5, I-90 and Aurora could serve as impassible barriers, in addition to some major parks.

A more unique approach could reflect Seattle's penchant for protests, riots, marches and rallies. Those could serve as a unique way to make the board more interesting, serving as a temporary or one-way barrier. Or they could serve as random army reductions?

I'd like to see a map of the seattle area, but I'm thinking it should be an even larger area. Smaller than the Puget Sound, but larger than the area you showed. That way the two floating bridges could be used. I would go from Richmond Beach to West Seattle, with Redmond as the eastern border.
