ConquerMan & Duck and Cover

I find myself doing fairly bad on both of them. Two totally opisite maps and yet..I love and suck at them both. For DAC Ive been going for the middle east or asia and building from there but Ive been having difficulties doing that. In Conquer man I was going for conquerman and the cupcake but have now changed my strat to one that seems to be working better. I find a corner where I have alot of armies and try to take the whole corner, going for huge territory bonuses.

What do you guys think?

I'm still getting through my first speed game on conquerman, but it looks to be a matter of racking up as many territories as you can asap. The bonuses seem too small to be worth committing too much defenses to... Even if you got the +5 bonus, it would probably make you more of a target than it's worth. I dunno... just my 2 cents.

Best settings for Conquer Man...straight from the map makers mouth

WidowMakers: Best settings: Freestyle, Ecsalating Chained. It take like 30 minutes to go 30 rounds. People are just flying all over the board. It is really fun that way.

In DAC, i always go for either middle east or europe, once you hold one the game is pretty much over.

ACTUALLY i have won DAC many times and i think the key is to get usa and specially central usa(and afterwards u can get north america) coz from here u can stop your enemy from getting bonus of asia or russia.

check my game 1691357
in this game i was down to 3 states in DAC!(only!)
but those 3 states were giving me the bonus of usa and guess what i won lol.

Yes, but it is much harder to hold usa

u cant form strat on luck...id only go fro usa..ie devert most of my troops there if my initial deploy was strong there..i personally like to work from asia...i tend not to go for mid east unless i have too
