Seriously... this map is "madness" and not in a good way... there is no good description showing what can/can't attack... the lines between rooms you can attack and not are VERY thin and not much difference...
last game i moved to "entrance" out towards the front path, where there is an open door, but NOPE, can't attack the front path...
just my opinion but after trying most maps that i hadn't tried before i have to say that one is the most horrendous to play...

Specifically regarding the entrance, since you mentioned it being unable to attack the path...it seems you are guilty of not reading the legend of the map. In the bottom right it states "Front Path to Entrance" as a "One Way Border." Sometimes scanning a map before playing it, or taking your turn, can save you headaches in the long run.
