deadbeat cards

Hi all,

thougt I read a while ago that it is posible to win cards of a deadbeat.
I tried to in game 1099590 taking the last territory of deadbeat ramned, and didn't got the cards.
My mistake? bug? can anybody make clear this point to me?

I'm pretty sure you don't get the cards. If he had cards and you eliminated him but got no cards, then it's like that always.

Of course I'm not 100% sure, so we'll wait until someone else comes that is.

he had 3 cards it's written in the game log

edit: u got his cards but u changed in the next turn

nope i did not got his cards, I already had 3 cards before taking him and I just got the 4th one and not his 3 cards...

That's only in terminator. In standard, their cards just disappear and the armies go neutral. In terminator, the armies stay the same colour, the cards stay, and if you take out all the remaining territories, you get the cards and the points.
