Would you play a forum poker/card game tournament?

I just thought of this idea. A lot of specifics have to be thought out, but you can suggest games here. With enough people, I may run one (maybe even multi-table :wink:

Everyone would start with an amount of chips/money, and people would bet on hands. Of course, different games require different rules for betting, but we can get past that.

Yeah but those don't have friend lists (or most don't). And who doesn't like a higher post count anyway?

This could actually be quite easy. You would pm us our hand using random.org or by picking them out of a deck yourself. Then we go around betting, you show us the flop, bet again, and so on and so forth.

I think an online poker site would be easier though, as the only way to play poker is RT, you cant have long delays, otherwise its impossible to play and read opponents

Actually I'm thinking of loggin onto a p[oker site right now. I don't remember how much I had on my account (play money) but does anyone wanna join me?

everyone who is interested should just sign up at pokerroom.com

no downloads needed, and its really easy. Although it doesn't work in firefox for me, only IE

I'd be in, the only thing is MM10, is it legal for under 18 years old, is it real money, and is there a friend list?

It might be legal for under 18 if you don't deposit real money , you can play with fake money, and no friends list.

I'm not 18 and I'm in. Just dont use your real adress and stuff, but make sure its accurate (i.e. search "oklahoma zip codes, and oklahoma phone numbers so you get the area code right)

And yes, its play money, but you could also do real money if you want :wink:

firefox works fine for me

It has something to do with my Java settings, that never lets me use Java on firefox
