just know i realized the page doesnt refresh when u submit a statement. this is cool so u wont miss anything. this is even better for team games that are kind of rt. this is pretty cool i think

I just installed some AJAX code but for the game chat only.

If it works smoothly, I'll put the whole game interface on AJAX later this week

It is NOT working at all... you cannot send a message to your team... only to everyone or yourself... at least I havent been able to determine how to do it.. it still only has the team option to check, nothing about (self)

In team games you have the team-only option, in non-team games you have the self-only option. That's how it has always been.

Basically when you type a message in team chat it comes up that u have typed the message to self.....

Ok I just checked my doubles partners account and he can still see what ive wrote even though it says to self my end

Ditto. I just tried it to see what happens and instead of it saying [team] it says [self]

there is a little bug in it, it don't understand "ø" and probably not æ and å

This new chat has new behavior, which is slightly inconvenient, and would be nice to fix it.

1. Team game
2. Unclick the "team" chat option and send a public chat.
3. It used to set the "team" chat option to true.
4. Now it keeps the team chat option off.

Can we revert to the old behavior, please?

if it is set up this way, it really should be changed... it was failsafe before, Id rather type ten messages to my team meant for general chat, than one meant for team to general

I do love the fact that it wont copy a chat, because that is a nice safeguard against accidental postings also

the new speed is awesome, but a few slips of chat could ruin many games
