Polymorphic Games
What's the issue with polymorphic games being played with more than two players ?

Re: Polymorphic Games
I'm sorry .. what do you mean "link" ?
When I set up a polymorphic game and set for 10 players, with two armies per team, I get an error message saying it can only be created with two players.

Re: Polymorphic Games
I'm wanting to create a polymorphic game. When it's all set up I get the following message : "Polymorphic games only available for 2 players".
I set up the game for 10 with two armies per player.
I don't know how to link that.

They have always been only 2 players but each player can have 2-4 colors within the player. So you set it to two players, 4 colors would look like an 8 player game but contrilled just by two

Re: Polymorphic Games
ahh I understand, yeah poly games is just 2 players, poly 2, each player has 2 colors each, poly 3 3 each, and poly 4 4each.
So if you want to play vs more players then you have to play standard, terminator og assassin games

Thanks, IcePack and Kingm. I appreciate that they have always been that way. I wonder why more players can't participate in a game, except that that's the rules.
Is there a technical issue with this ?

Re: Polymorphic Games
I don't mean for this to be contentious. I just would like to play team games, with several teams, where I can command all the colors on my team. I feel like a team game would be much more satisfying for me if the other player(s) on my team had the same vision. I was under the notion that that was what polymorphic games were about.
I'm only wondering if there's some technical reason why that can't work. For instance : I'd like to set up a game with 5 teams, for example, where each of the five players would control two colors .. a total of 10 colors for the game, 5 teams. I feel that would make for a very exciting game.

Re: Polymorphic Games
They do have doubles were you can have 4 or maybe even 5 teams in 1 game, if you can find a friend that will do exactly as you say. You will have what you want. That also means it is possible for them to code polymorphic games as you describe. you can ask them in suggestions if they will, I doubt they'll do it tho. Until then, try poly with 4 slots. Much more strategy involved.

Re: Polymorphic Games
Thanks, Williams. I haven't found a teammate yet who will play as I ask, without getting insulted, because they all think they have better ideas. I'd love to find a teammate who shares my sensibilities.
I find, only a minimum of three teams or three players makes for a balanced, interesting game. Two-player or two-team games quickly become unbalanced and tend to end quickly.
Unfortunately, none of my suggestions of the programming team have been accepted yet so, I have little hope of this idea coming to fruition.
Thanks for your informed response, Williams.
