Change to CC tournaments

Most cc tournaments have a league stage followed by a knock out.

The chance re. number of first starts at the knockout stage results in players being eliminated not because of skill but because of starts. I was second qualifier with a 13/15 record. I then had 0-7 first starts in the first knockout stage. I lost 4-3 and I'm out. Very frustrating.

There should be a second or even third league stage followed by semi finals and finals with higher game numbers for the semi and final.

Could this be trialed and feed back requested from participants.

What do you mean with cc tournaments? The Poly Championships have 3 rounds before players get eliminated, for example.
