Infrastructural Update

The major project for this year is the ultimate in "infrastructural updates": updating our code base and with it, the forum software, the operating system on our server, and the server hardware itself.

The upgrades are expected to provide performance and security enhancements, as well as allow for the updating of our forum software.

This will be a long, arduous process as the webmaster has thousands of lines of codes to update but he aims to get it all done within this year.

And with that, there has been a new update released recently and you can check your Profile page now by clicking on the Profile tab located under the Personal Menu.

There will be more updates to come in the near future.
And of course, should you notice any bugs, please feel free to either contact me or any of the Tech moderators or any mods you would prefer and he/she will relay your issue to us. You can also make a report in the Bugs Report forum if you prefer.

Thanks for the update!

For some reason, I have an additional 150 games played on the new profile, with only 1 more win, dropping from a 51% to 45% win percentage.

Which one do I trust?

In the UK a lot of people use vpn. By routing your traffic through a VPN server, your real IP address is hidden, and the websites you visit see the IP address of the VPN server instead, which can make it appear as though you are accessing the internet from a different location.

Mostly done to watch football games (soccer) because VPNs can be used to bypass geographical restrictions and access content that may be blocked in your region.

So perhaps your in a rental house with wifi included or you log in on wifi at your favorite bar that has live tv games?

This is a notice for upcoming downtime for Infrastructural Upgrades. Scheduled Down Time is Mon Nov 17, 09:00 - 14:00 CCT. Creating and joining games will be blocked for 60 minutes in advance and starting turns will be blocked for 20 minutes in advance.

Not sure if there is an official topic, but you need to replace the Conquer Club link in the header by the Central Command, there is no sense at all to be redirect to the CC home page.

Also, it is more than annoying you get to the bottom of the screen when selecting Forum pages and have you scrolling up like crazy to reach the page you want to read…

Another issue is when you click on the latest message for a say topic, it brings you to several message above.

This Forum has a new lift but the logic is not there the way we have to navigate, especially using tablet or mobile device.
