The PFFFT Thread

Post by Craig25 »

Any improvement on CC is good, but a slight improvement in Dice fluctuation is not going to make much of a difference. The way I see it, the Top 3 priorities are:

1. Attract more Premium Players.
2. Find more Revenue for the Site in order for it to be kept a float.
3. Find more people who are prepared to pay to be a CC Member.

Here is an idea that would help a little in the short Term - MAKE ALL MODS PAY FOR PREMIUM until such times as we can grow the number of paying customers. Why should they get it free when 99% of them have stood idly by, no idea or skills to improve CC and watch Players desert the Site in Hundreds over the last Decade?

Why all the hate for the mods?
Without them organising clans/tournaments/events/kicking multis out surely the site would be worse?
If you take away the premium and they all stop the site would be dead

1000000% agree, but I guess in Scotland they have to pay to work or something like that, like I also want CC to do better, but like the hate Craig has for the mods are just ridiculous.
Does he really think it would be better with 0 mods here at all?

All the mods here, will get all the love in the world, at least from me, they are doing a great job with the resources they have.

Once you realize that it's basically one dude posting over and over again about the mods. As in, literally cutting and pasting his own comments into multiple threads.

You'll realize that it's not "all this hate" for the mods. Rather, it's just one very loud d-bag who hates the mods for his own petty reasons.

Sounds like a plan

It's sinking? Have you seen the annual report?
3. Find more people who are prepared to pay to be a CC Member.
Isn't that the same as number 1?

Do you even know how many mods get free premium? Did you just assume it was all?

I don't see an extra 1000 Paying Customers which CC had within the last 5 years.
TeeGee wrote: Isn't that the same as number 1?
No, you could charge existing Players who do not pay currently. The Mods that have been partly responsible for people leaving the site in their hundreds. I thought that was obvious.
TeeGee wrote:Do you even know how many mods get free premium? Did you just assume it was all?
I don't and won't be counting. But the extra revenue would appear crucial to have a fully functioning stable website. You start cutting costs, the site gets worse. I'm not against people doing work for a year for the same cost as a board game. But when most of them do it so badly that the site is going down the toilet, I do not think it is out of the question to ask them to pay to play on the site.

The mods? or the idiots we allow to freely roam the forums, mouthing off with little to no knowledge of what is actually going on?

I believe Craig his motives are good (or i like to believe it...which is not the same thing).
But i also believe trashtalking mods down is not the best way to make your point..

Why not start a small board of people with ideas (who get to turn a small budget like 500 euros investment into CC shares and get rewarded for grow numbers)? Win-win?

So if a mod changed the title why has that mod not changed the part between brackets saying a mod changed it? 8-)

Hi All

The 1st Post in this Forum was originally posted in response to Forum:

https://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewt ... 6&t=242295

My response to that has been used without my knowledge, by someone with editing rights (A Mod Obv) to make an entirely new Forum Post Titles 'Craig's whine'. I subsequently added: - Mod Generated this NEW Forum Post - Reported

[img]But, whoever done it is an absolute Fuckwit. Forgetting to amend the replies to the original forum. which still show with the original Topic Name.

Impossible for me to post a NEW TOPIC and for Players to respond directly to it with an entirely different Topic Title - they forgot to change those.. It would appear, just like you, whoever done it is not the sharpest Tool in the box :D

And here is the time when they done it :D !

All replies up to 5.49 were to the "Re: The CC dice engine is complete trash." Forum.

Then it changes to Players Responding to the Forum which the Mod Created using my account: "Re: Craig's whine" at 06.23

Then a Mod immediately replies called Razorvich. Or, as some call him 'That Complete and Utter Dough Ball' Razorovich. My money is on him :D But who knows, it will be fun finding out which one thinks they have the power to Hack into Players accounts and generate Forum Posts in the Players name. :D

Complaint Topic Locked after the following post from Myself. Not that I think the Moron who thinks it's okay to Use MOD Permissions to impersonate Players will go to prison or anything. Not unless Trump starts to Bang Up people for being Wee Dicks! :D You never know! :D

https://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewt ... ead#unread

"If you engage in online impersonation, you could face serious repercussions. Here are some potential legal consequences:

Criminal charges: Your actions could lead to charges such as identity theft, fraud or cyberstalking
Civil lawsuits: The impersonated individual might sue you for defamation or invasion of privacy
Fines: Courts may impose substantial fines for damages caused by your online behavior
Jail time: Severe cases of online impersonation can result in imprisonment
Probation: You might face probation with strict guidelines to follow
The severity of these punishments often depends on your intent and the harm caused. Even without malicious intent, the law might still view your actions as criminal.

Online impersonation carries potential legal risks that many people may not be aware of. While the internet offers numerous opportunities for anonymity, it’s crucial to remember that online actions can have real-world consequences. Always consider the potential implications before taking someone else’s identity on the internet."

Exactly. No one hacked his account or pretended to be him...why in hell would they want to!?!

The moderator simply moderated the forum by splitting the off-topic posts into a new topic. Why do you have to make such a big deal out of every little thing, Craig?! That's rhetorical, btw.

How much do you think we get paid? I think premium is $35 a year. I average a MINIMUN of 1 hour a day doing CC related stuff. That is just under $.096 a day. Damn your right Craig25, we are over paid. I have been on CC just about 20 years and a mod for about 15. If you think I am doing this for the premium you are dead wrong. I do this probably for the same reason you do. I like the site, the game and most of the players.

The one thing that I know we get that you probably don't is harassment that comes with the position.

FFS Craig. Give it a freaking rest. Unless your end game is to have every single person on this site get sick of your sh!t (many of us are already there). In that case, keep doing what you're doing.

I won't bother to address your moronic claims of injustice. I'm just here to say, "Shut the fcuk up and go away."
