The accused are suspected of:
Other: Game ruining/throwing games
Game number(s):
Game 22968167
Comments:
Starting round 20 (the final round), I was on track to win. The second place player, yellow, didn't have any adjacent territories, so he was unlikely to catch up even with good dice.
Then, for no reason, red - in last place - suicided most of his remaining armies into me, taking our one of my stacks, denying me income, and handing the game to yellow. Before and after screenshots included.
Edit Note: fixed map

Re: crazystef Game Ruining
This game is obvious.
https://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=22968167
crazystef was determined to ruin the game, no chance to win.

Re: crazystef Game Ruining
To be fair I may be partly responsible for this. Like Red it was clear early on that I was out of the game. Rather than just sitting waiting to be picked off while deploying my 3 troops I chose to nibble at whoever had the most troops/deploy at the time (admittedly there was one turn where in frustration I hit Pink by mistake having failed on an attack on Green).
Red (admittedly quite late on) decided to follow suit but had more troops and could do more damage. As to whether he spread the damage around fairly I must confess I didn't look too closely...

Whatever may have happened before, when round 20 started, there was a clear outcome. You can't then go ahead and hand victory to someone else when you're in last place. This wasn't a "nibble" it was a full-on suicide to change the winner.Ewebasher wrote:To be fair I may be partly responsible for this. Like Red it was clear early on that I was out of the game. Re: crazystef Game Ruining
In a one-game instance, typically it's a foe and move on scenario (unless it's obvious that a player threw a game to help a friend for points or such, as that is included under secret diplomacy sort of). If there are multiple instances, then a warning could perhaps be issued.
Sucky, but this doesn't really count as cheating or abuse.

I don't know why you would say that, but it's not true. Game ruining is illegal; the first offense is a warning, as it should be.Frox333 wrote:In a one-game instance, typically it's a foe and move on scenario (unless it's obvious that a player threw a game to help a friend for points or such, as that is included under secret diplomacy sort of). This sort of behavior absolutely ruins tournaments, and there's no way to avoid the idiots in them.
