Just started playing the game again.
45, been playing on this site since I was in my late 20.
Little cynical about the game. Feel it's been solved if players don't engage in diplomacy.
Yet games nowadays, seems rude and aggressive to talk about truces
Seems like the whole game is just hoping everyone else not in front leaves each other alone so we can tackle the tall poppy (Australian saying).
Need a mentor.

It's not easy to deal with diplomacy. You need to be manipulative, just like politicians in real life - no place for honest and integrity lol
Well, this is why I prefer to stick to head-to-head games like 1v1, 2v2... and stay away from multi-opponent games unless it's escalating spoils where bonuses are insignificant.
