Conquer Club

Many players on the site have a ling time rivalry history, known by the whole community. One of the most known rivarlies are between Chariot of Fire and me. At first, our rivarly was not a frienly one and a lot of bad words were said between us, but in the meantime Chariot of Fire and me became great friends, even in our personal lives.

Even though Chariot of Fire has already retired from the site, he agreed to come back just for this challenge. Thank you CoF!

We play new and new games until someone comes to +11 wins or more, and then this player is winner.
For instance, we start with 11 games, match finishes 8-3, then we play 3 more games for possible finish of 11-3 but if finish 6-5 then we play 5 more games for possible finish of 11-5.
We don't start new round until all matches of previous round are finished.
Map order is shown below link, and I create all games to be first player joined so we use to know which color is ours in long term.

Rules of the challenge:
All games must be 1v1 (no poly allowed)
"Classic" settings of risk: escalating, adjacent, sunny, 30 rounds.
First-goer can only deploy on first turn (no attacks, no fort), and then second-goer starts to indeed play

Estimated starting date: September 6

P.S. I would be happy to play exactly the same challenge with the same rules vs xroads as well, if he is willing to accept my challenge. I am not inviting him directly to this challenge, but as he is stalking me around the site, I am 100% sure that this invitation will be seen by him.

P.P.S. I would be happy to play exactly the same challenge versus anyone who has positive head-to-head score vs me with at least 11 (1v1 and poly games combined) played and a positive head-to-head score. On top of my head, I remeber that players who satisfy this criteria are Nut shot scott, bigWham and narutoserigala and Bariclaw, but there are surely more players who satisfy the criteria.

I like you too, you know that.. but it would be stupid play for me to accept.. i joined 2 years ago and im still learning maps.. so i would not have a clue in half of the games AND those games i won't have a clue on are against....josko.ri

Not wanting to be the wiseguy here, but Colosseum can't be played, so 254 maps left of which 4 are only open during a certain time a year. (Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter & Christmas).

After carefull consideration, thinking so well on it, sleeping a night over it (real short night) and giving it some deep tought: i have to decline. Brain and hearth say its stupid as stupid goes against Josko even on 250 maps..

Dubs games need communication and CoF is only playing by intuition, not any conmunication.

I had to check our handful of games to see if this was sarcasm or not lol never been accused of being communicative before and wanted to make sure my reputation wasn’t tarnished.

Almost no chat in those games = reputation intact

I've never had a problem with your game play...now your dice are a different matter entirely. You are the only person I've ever met who makes my rolls look "good."

Very happy our paths crossed again on the occasion of your birthday and we started chatting again about a challenge we'd considered years ago.

Do we need to lay down some ground rules? I mean, there's freestyle and unlimited/no forts etc etc. Shall we keep it to 1v1 clan war rules which always seemed sensible. And what about starting? We could make it very equitable by having an equal amount of first turns (easy to do, just don't go first on home maps and waste the troops). I'm easy either way and could just as happily let Fate play her part

I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss this site, but have to add the break has been good and was very necessary (I've three children under 6 FFS!)
