Terminator Quickie: Brazil Anyone with three slots available at all times can sign up!
We all know those extensive terminator tournaments that put you through a whole series of games. We also know those short and sweet 16-player bracket tournaments that are over in a blink. ... but there aren't many short and sweet terminator tournaments.
This format hopes to provide an effective equivalent of those quick tournaments, but for terminator games.
Gameplay Format
16 players will be randomly sorted into 4 groups of 4 players.
Each group will play 3 terminator games with the same settings.
The player with the most kills in each group will advance to the finals.
The finals will be a repeat - 4 finalists in 3 terminator games; most kills wins the tournament.
Settings The game settings for all games will be as follows:
Map: Brazil
Players: 4
Type: Terminator
Troops: Automatic
Order: Sequential
Spoils: Escalating
Fortifications: Chained
FoW: Sunny
Trench: No
Round Limit: 20 Rounds
Tiebreaker Rules Tiebreakers will be broken in order of the following:
Number of clean sweeps (i.e. eliminated all players in the game) in current round.
Number of games won in current round.
Number of kills in previous round.
Number of rounds required for kills made (lower = better).
Note: Winning by reaching the round limit does not count as a kill or clean sweep, but does count as a win.

Privs have been granted and games have been sent out. I forgot to change the game label for Group B, but I won't recreate the games since it doesn't affect anything - just thought I'd make a note of it here, in case it causes any confusion. Good luck!

Update
The last game of the group stage is complete, and we're finally in the finals!
That was one of the most closely contested group stages we've had so far, as 3 out of 4 groups ended up having to go to a tiebreaker to determine the player advancing to the finals. I'm open to feedback on the tiebreakers being used as well, for future iterations.
We'll see if the finals is as hotly contested, good luck to the remaining players!

Update
The finals went all the way into the last round of play, with 1 of the games ending with the round limit, and another ending just before it kicked in.
Ultimately, mikehayes pulled off a clutch performance to take the win with a clean sweep, eliminating his opponents in round 19 and 20 of play. It was enough to win him the tournament, as the kills in the other game were split between templeyard and shoop76.
