Why is it ok to be afraid of clowns but not drag queens?

Post by Army of GOD »

I don't want to sound transphobic, or whatever the term for this is, but this is an important topic.

I find drag queens to be scarier than clowns. I am not trying to say that they are evil (I don't know any personally) nor am I saying I disagree with their lifestyle. I am just saying that they look fucking horrifying.

The kids in the picture don't seem afraid. That might be a start.

being afraid of drag queens is, by definition, transphobic. And there is nothing wrong with that.

That's not a "drag queen" that's a drag nightmare.
Now, take Sushi ... she's a real queen ...

"these kind of freaks are discussing, and she not be able to flaunt that shit in public"
Im assuming you meant disgusting?

I disagree, maybe she /he is in costume for a play he/she is acting in. A horror show if it is.

But my thought really was the band "kiss" pretty close make up.
Alice cooper, Im sure there are more im forgetting.

If a person wants to run around like that fine, I've seen lots of people dressed as what I would say was "freaky".
But this person, gotta be dressed for a part in a play or sumtin, how could he/she get close to kids otherwise?

I suppose she /he could be selling books and its a promotion.

If he/she asked if he/she could buy you a drink what would ya say?

Hey f*ck you. You don't want to be transphobic, why is that? I have the right to be uncomfortable in front of non-binary people. Should I feel bad about it? No. We have the right to feel uncomfortable.
The other day I saw an interview between Jordan Peterson and another professor from his university that was actually a transgender (woman to man).
Quite honestly, I would have a problem with that. I would feel too uncomfortable to attend classes with a transgender professor. I would have no problem if the professor was gay and speak quite manerly even if the voice would annoy me. But a transgender professor would be way too weird. You just look at the face and you see the other sex and a person dressed up. You can't take them seriously.

Drag queens don't bother me. People with pierced lips and shit like that are truly revolting.

It's "all right" to have any phobia. Some people are afraid of spiders, doesn't mean it's the spiders' fault. Being scared of clowns doesn't man clowns are bad. Me, I'm a little nervous of moths for some reason... something to do with the way they move. I'm totally aware this is irrational.

Negrophobia is a dislike or fear of black people. Presume you have no problem with that one either?

These scare me. One area of the ranch has a massive oak tree. They come out in the hundreds at dusk.

Not if they recognise that it's irrational and don't try to justify it.

ITT: jones is fine with discrimination, as long as the discriminator says 'I'm irrational'
