Asia Bibi
This woman was jailed and sentenced to death for blasphemy. A politician intervened calling for a more clement punishment, he was shot dead by his own body guard. Yesterday she was freed after 10 years in jail. This is because 2 Muslim women refused to drink from the same cup as an unclean Christian, so Bibi called the prophet Muhammad something derogatory.
Here is the reaction to her not being executed for blasphemy

You onviously enjoy spreading hate and intolerance.

Just informing you of current events in the news. Sorry if reality offends you. This one is going to get you reaching for the cleenex. The cleric that reported her sayi for blasphemy has said that the ruling by the court is a sign to take the law into their own hands.
Re: Asia Bibi
I'm just going to quote the original post as a record of what was there, in case he somehow figures out the link is about something seemingly unrelated, that I suspect was trapped in his browser from a previous cut and paste..
I am curious if there was some "reaction to her not being exicuted" online.

I don't get your logic. You see the horrible effects of religious intolerance in Pakistan, and yet you want to have more religious intolerance here.
Doesn't add up.

I couldn't find cunts getting lashed or their throats slit on YouTube. Sorry if that was too tame or boring.
Re: Asia Bibi
Asia Bibi's husband has told of the fear he feels over his and his wife's safety. And is seeking asylum in either US, UK or Canada..

Or he only says that Muslims in non-Muslim countries should be treated same as Muslims treat non-Muslims in countries with Muslim majority. Its fair opinion.

So in your view, anyone pointing out the terrible treatment of humans in the name of Allah is an intolerant bigot yeah? I should just ignore it eh? Have I actually said anything here derogatory towards Islam or informed you of the laws under Islamic rule?
Now for anyone who's minds are not tied up with rules on what they allow themselves to think or say, they might see something else at work here. I would say that Pakistan is beginning to reform some of the more barbaric Islamic laws due to foreign influence. Something for the lefties to shout about but not one of those dopey fucks thought about that.
Re: Asia Bibi
Hating on Muslims isn't religious intolerance.
It's actually a pre-requisite for polite society:

Sure I have two really close friends from Pakistan. One is a woman named Aymen, she was an International Development student at my alma mater. Lived in residence with me and we stayed close right though until graduation. In residence, we used to take turns buying pizza so we had pizza 4 nights a week for the whole year. Now I don't even like pizza anymore.
My other friend is Anees. His father was a Christian pastor, and came from a line of Christian pastors. The Muslim fever pitch kept rising and rising. They tried moving towns a few times. One time Anees was kidnapped and thrown over a cliff to die. The kidnappers called his father and said "if you don't renounce Christ, we will kill your son". By a miracle, he survived. Eventually they decided that the persecution was getting worse and they came to Canada via Sri Lanka. You can watch Anees' story here:

I do go and eat with his family about once a month. They make great pakora and some sauce called chutney (although its a spicy green sauce).
I have never read any Pakistani literature, since I don't read Urdu.
The more I understand about Pakistan, the more I am glad that India has nuclear weapons and the more I resent the Crown giving it up.

Now I don't even like pizza anymore. She said that Pakistan was actually a fairly liberal culture but it was getting worse while she was in Canada. Eventually, she decided to go back. After about six months, I never heard from her again. The only possible answer is that a horde of raving Muslims killed her, and everyone else good in the country.

I'm baffled why you think that foreign influence is a positive way to fix Pakistan's problems. Who do you suggest? Afghanistan? India? The US? China?
A Christian pastor via Sri Lanka from Canada is never going to be a solution to solve the problems that Pakistan faces. Christians won't ever be major force in Pakistan.
As an olive leaf, would you consider reading Midnight's Children or Shame by Salman Rushdie (M's Ch is better, but Shame is shorter)?

Re: Asia Bibi
Foreign influence is always an effective way to solve problems. Pakistan was great for the past 2500 years while it was under foreign domination. Only in the last hundred years when they insisted on sovereignty did everything go to hell for them. Nationalism is the devil. It is racism, xenophobia and hatred all smushed together into a soup of ingroup tribal mentality.
Christianity is the answer for all countries in the world. Every knee will bow. They already have 95% population who acknowledge Jesus as a prophet, and Mary, Mother of Jesus as the most important woman ever born. They are so close to being Catholic that they just need to take communion.
