[How can something be added to an existing map?]

I play the Baltic Crusades map almost exclusively but have played the Japan map several times. I really like the towns and castles being part of the game, would it be possible to add these items to the Japan map?

Add towns and castles to the Japan map.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
[I think having the towns and castles added to the Japan map would make for a more interesting game. ]

In short, no. You would have to make a new map with that kind of focus instead of the standard geographical map.

Might be worth using one of the older maps of Japan that exist as a kind of template:

Random thoughts.

I think Hawaii would be a better location. Japan is already done. Anyway I'll give it a few minutes.

Land, water, mountains and Tsunami.

I would like the Inland Sea to be a vital connector.

In Japan the oceans are a critical food source maybe auto deploy areas. Trying to make the water important.

Tsunami - hold XYZ and unleash a bombardment Tsunami along the coast coupled with a HUGE XML MULTIPLIER or 20+ Auto Deploy. Reverting many land territories to neutral.

Mountains are sacred in Japan. Maybe holding all of them would unleash Tsunami???

Japanese royal relics - Due to the legendary status of these items, their locations are not confirmed, but it is commonly thought that the sword is located at the Atsuta Shrine in Nagoya, the jewel is located at the Three Palace Sanctuaries in Kōkyo (the Imperial Palace in Tokyo), and the mirror is located at the Ise Grand Shrine in Mie Prefecture.[2]

It was fun anyway.
